I have a rescue dog who recently moved with me from Portugal to the UK. About a year ago he started snorting a lot and coughing and the vet there checked him over and always said it was an allergy - until a week before we moved to the UK, when she said she thought it was a throat issue and he should have a laryngoscopy at a cost of 400 euros, but no one was available until after we moved. Grrr. It got worse once we moved here, so I took him to a vet here in the UK, who gave him some antibiotics and said the next step would be laryngoscopy and MRI scan at a cost of £7000!! Eek! I did a lot of reading and decided that there was a chance it was tracheal collapse as there's a big likelihood my dog may have been chained up as a pup, causing damage. Anyway, I came across an article about Throat Gold and decided I might as well give it a go, I had nothing to lose. There was no change for the first two or three weeks and then suddenly my son commented on how much quieter our dog was in the evenings. We'd got used to the constant snorting coming from his bed but now there was silence. And since then he has been so so much better. I wouldn't say whatever the problem is has gone away, because he still has days when his breathing is noisy or rasping or he gags a little, but generally he's much quieter and also seems much happier - it wasn't until he improved that we realised he was no longer sniffing things, but now he's like a bloodhound! So I don't know, I haven't tried anything else so it can only be this stuff that has made a difference and I'm so pleased. Yes it's expensive but cheaper than the exploratory tests, and I've just ordered a second bottle.

It is soooo expensive! But if you have a smaller dog it does last quite a long time and we think it's worth it as it has improved our dog's quality of life. Our young dog has occasionally cough/ gagging / honking which isn't diagnosed as a collapsed trachea, but we highly suspect that it is because it is common with the breed. We were distressed to find this out given how young she is, and some days it is worse than others. After consistent use for a few weeks this stuff really does work and we've not heard a peep out of the dog for a long time now... high recommend trying this.

I used this product to help manage my chihuahuas collapsed Trachea. I was happy to give it a go after reading the reviews and suppliers information. Unfortunately my dog did not respond at all, I noticed no improvement in the episodes of coughing and the dog did not show any signs of improvement, he still coughed and wheezed. I also noticed that when the dog slept he still awoke and had coughing fits. Unfortunately for me the product did not work but I hope you have more success and luck if you try this product out.

After speaking to a vet a couple of months ago, they said that our Jack Russell likely has a collapsing trachea and has had her entire life, so for her whole life occasionally (maybe every 3-5 weeks) she would have an episode of snorting and struggling to breathe and we could never find out why, the vet indirectly dismissed this product and suggested getting her teeth done instead of focusing on the throat, so we went ahead and ordered this and she gets about 10-14 drops per day (your dog should get 2 drops per Kilogram of body weight according to the bottle) and since she has been having this on her food, she hasn't had a single full blown breathing attack, she still does a single cough after drinking or eating sometimes, but she hasn't had trouble breathing a single time since she's been having this. It IS expensive, but if you're in a position to get this, I don't really think you can put a price on your animals welfare and absolutely think you should try it. We found it started working within 7 days and she's now been having it frequently and it's much nicer not seeing her struggling to breathe like before.

This product didn't work for my elderly pooch but I would still recommend you try it as it my work for your dog and with a money back guarantee 😉 you have nothing to loose. My old gal is on steriods but they haven't worked too well. I will still keep trying the drops and hope she improves soon. My vet is unsure of what is the cause of her cough but feels it my be issues with her trachea. Fantastic company to respond and refund 👏 so quickly they are truly a believe in their products.

I have bought this a few times now as it seems to help our pug x chihuahua who often gets very snuffly and you can hear her airway is blocked. It’s really expensive which I don’t know if it’s a fair price or not but it works for us so we’ll use it!

This product was very helpful for my Yorkie who has been diagnosed with tracheal collapse and pulmonary disease. She was coughing nonstop for 2 days and her steroid inhaler wasn't helping at all. I was actually desperate to help her, and ordered this as a last resort. Her cough stopped shortly after I gave her one dose, it really seemed like a miracle. I continued giving it to her over the next few days and she is much better. Full disclosure--she was started on antibiotics a couple of days before trying this product and so it's unclear how much of an impact this had on her recovery.

This actually works, I have an English Staffy Cross who has a collapsed trachea and I tried Manuka honey and it did ok but she was still honking like a goose. When we received your Throat Gold tincture on June 19th, 2017, we had just about given up regarding the fate of our 18 year-old Lhasa Apso. For the past week prior to that date she had been "honking" in distress almost continuously - day and night. On June 17th, we had her examined by a good veterinarian who took an X-ray and diagnosed her illness as a collapsed trachea (windpipe). The doctor concluded that there was really no treatment and that we should be prepared for the worst. At that time it sounded like good advice. It goes without saying that my wife and I were considerably distressed and had no alternative other than seeking INTERNET help.
