Just received this umbrella and put it together -- note that the base in the photos is not included.. For the price it's much better than I expected. It's relatively light weight but feels firm. It raises and lowers smoothly. I ordered the orange version to match my favorite sports team and contrast with a blue cantilever umbrella on the other end of the pool -- the color is very nice and bright and adds a splash of color to my yard. I also ordered a zippered cover for it so I won't have to drag it under cover when severe storms or hail threatens.The main problem I've had with this kind of umbrella is the rope breaking -- the rope broke on my last one and it would not un-tilt. The mechanism on this umbrella looks solid but I'll know more after a season of use. However, at this price, I'll be thrilled if I get a full season of use out of it, although I do expect it to last longer.I'll update if it breaks or develops other problems.The best part is the price -- for this price, I can replace it every year.

We had a few warm day and our old umbrella broke last year. I found this and decided the price was too good to pass. It is sturdy feeling and perfect color. I haven’t used it yet but I’m sure it will be fine!

Arrived on time and as promised. It isn't the sturdiest umbrella (it wobbles quite a bit int he wind), but it is a good value for the money.

I’ve owned this for 4 months now and I love it. I was apprehensive to buy it given one review I saw that indicated their winching mechanism broke. I have a poor quality base for the umbrella and an acrobatic squirrel that likes to jump on the canopy so it has toppled over more than 5 times and flew off the deck entirely at least twice. As a result, I crank it up and down at least once a week now and the mechanism and attachment cords still work perfectly. So glad I went with the 10’ as well-perfect coverage for the chairs beneath during sunshine and rain. Canopy material is reasonably strong with a stretchy canvas feel and color is beautiful.

I ordered this 10 footer to replace a tiny umbrella on an inexpensive patio set.Out of the box, all parts were present and accounted for. The umbrella fabric was intact and the pole sections were dent and scratch free.Bonus, the fabric was a near perfect match to our existing chairs.Set up was as easy as connecting the two poles and sticking it in the umbrella base under my table.The crank operated smoothly and expanded the umbrella properly. This thing is BIG. The 10 foot span will really provide a significant amount of shade.The tilt feature is easy to operate and was one of the main reasons I ordered this umbrella, the morning sun is bright out there.As always, time will tell about durability and longevity, but at this price point, the initial impression is worth 5 stars.UPDATE, 1 YEAR LATER:The umbrella was doing fine after a year. The cloth had faded a little in the sun but no tips, tears, or structural issues.About the only complaint we had is the location of the button for tilting the canopy. It's a bit high to reach. Not a problem for me but my girl can't reach it and she's 5'7".Unfortunately I neglected to close the umbrella recently on an extremely windy day. A powerful gust grabbed the umbrella and knocked it and the attached table over. Sadly, the umbrella snapped in two right at the crank section, rendering it useless. However, I immediately ordered a same model replacement and all is good again. Hard to beat this one for the price. 👍🏻👍🏻

I bought a bunch of these to use at a restaurant. They are definitely a good value, but you get what you pay for. They look really nice, nothing wrong with the quality in terms of appearance, but they break (from wind) very easily. Four of them broke within a couple weeks in only about 10 MPH breezes.
