Wow! Like Babylon 5 for kids?!
Bloomin' fantastic! When I initially happened across the first half of season 1 in a charity shop for 50p I thought it was worth a try for my 5 year old. Wasn't too sure watching the first episode but then... wow! I had to order the boxed set of the entire series as soon as we'd started watching it.With the entire series written by the same author, the tone of storytelling is consistent throughout. It actually made me think of Babylon 5, with it's over-arching storyline running across the entire series and tiny bits of foreshadowing from the earliest episodes suddenly becoming hugely significant 20 or 30 episodes later.Unlike a lot of kids TV, there is character development that runs through the whole 2 seasons. Events are not reset at the end of each episode - things happen that affect characters long-term and have significant emotional impact. Characters are also distinct, with their own personalities and aims, which sometimes align with and sometimes conflict with others...Being a kid's series, some points are hammered home with a sledgehammer and there are lots of fart jokes when Skinnet the Skunk is around. There's still a fair bit of violence, but in true A-team style no-one ever seems to be injured despite the explosions and crashing wreckage.

Autre's take on made up byzantine Lego mythology
Amazingly for a kids show of any sort, this set of seasons has a consistent writer, director, vision and story arc - a slightly odd and nonsense kids universe in total. Will keep your kids occupied for all 900 hours, if they are predisposed to the slightly melodramatic.
