This product is best suited for small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, etc. I do not recommend this product for dogs. This was easy to assemble and set up. I bought it for my rabbits and it works exactly the way it should. I wish the panels were a little bit taller but it's not a major problem. My rabbits free roam but this serves as their own space for them when they want. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats and this allows them to retreat and not be bothered, if need be. It also gives me a place to keep them safe when I'm not home or at night when we're sleeping. (I have one cat I don't trust.) The only thing I don't like is that I'm struggling to find a proper cover for it. I only need to cover it when they're not free roaming. I'm currently using plywood but it's bulky and heavy. I don't leave it on at all times... only when I need to make sure they're safe and secure when I'm not home. I need something lightweight. I may end up having to make something.

I bought this “playpen” to use as a cage for my rabbit and the height of it doesn’t even go up to my knee (im 5’1ft tall). Any animal bigger than a hamster could easily jump out of this. Absolute waste of money, don’t buy it.

This enclosed playpen panels are a must-have. I recently bought this playpen for our Rabbit and was very impressed with the quality, ease of use, and bunny-friendly design. This playpen is constructed from sturdy yet lightweight metal that makes setup a breeze - no tools required! I especially like that there is a gate / door that latches securely. My free-roaming bunny loved all the space to hop and play safely while I supervised.

My rats were able to jump over the panels. I'm sure it's fine for other small pets but not for rats.

Love love love this pin! I love how you can clean it, move it, and change your setup whenever and however you want. However, I will say that building this was not as easy as everyone put it out to be. First, that hammer they send with it is horrible and broke on me in a matter of seconds. Your better off using a thick wooden spoon from dollar general or if you have one laying around the house go ahead and bring that bad boy out! It will make the process faster and easier, lol. Other than the hammer I love it. Another thing is my bunny’s can jump out of this cage, but if you throw a twin sheet over or if your using it the way I have it then that fixes the issue. If you do the 3 squares on the front/back side and 2 squares on the sides then 2 mini crib sheets work over it also! Don’t hesitate on buying. It has plenty of space and there are ways to fully proof it with things laying around the house if needed. I also have a 1yr old that likes to pull up on it and it is sturdy enough to hold his weight and withhold him pulling on it. All around I would recommend! Now we wait for our castle to come in the mail!🥰

Thus item was amazing..my puppy loved it..easy to out together and use. Big help with raising a puppy to adult hood

We ordered this hoping to be able to keep our dog in it when we left the house instead of putting him in his crate. It came in a small box and seemed very cheap. It would definitely not keep anything in it that's able to push on the sides at all. May be good for a new litter of puppies but not anything much older than that.

If you have mischievous bunnies like me, you will need to use the zip ties. Just leaning on them will cause the panels to come apart. I bought white zip ties and didn’t use the black ones. And had to spray paint all of the feet white. I wish companies would supply those colors if they offer them in different colors. Overall a good pen. You will have to train animals not to get out since they are short. But you can buy more panels and make them taller or have a lid. I bought an extra one to make smaller barriers into rooms I didn’t want them to go into. Short enough for me to walk over with ease, and a visual barrier for them.

No assembly manual of any sort found. Assembly was relatively easy - it was plastic. This is definitely not a puppy play pen, it is very short in height, not as sturdy, appears to be MUCH bigger in the photos they provided, huge disappointment, my 8 week old puppy is too big for this pen, this pen is good for rodents, not puppies, yet the seller specifically wrote for “puppy” for this product. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT - will be asking for a full refund.
