100% would recommend you anybody looking for a versatile budget friendly tent
I looked at a lot of different SUV tents before choosing this one, and this one hands-down looked much nicer and sturdier than the others. I used it on a camping trip a few weeks ago in Knoxville and was really impressed with how spacious it was — there was plenty of room for all my gear and still lots of space to move around. One of my favorite features is that you can easily pull your SUV away from the tent and it stays standing, then back right up and reconnect without any hassle. If you plan on sleeping in the back of your SUV like I did, I’d recommend a small step stool if you’re on the shorter side because climbing in can be a little awkward. My friend, who is almost 6 feet tall, stepped inside to check it out and still had tons of headroom. Overall, this tent made camping much easier and more comfortable, and it was easy to put up. There are only three poles to hook through the tent and then the side poles did get a little bit of wind, but had no problem. It stayed up perfectly as I do with all of my tents I did spray it down with the water guard. I love that it has two big windows on both sides and then the back where the door is is all one big screen or you can close it all off. I put it up in My Son loved it so much. He’s buying one for himself and my friend that I went camping with in Knoxville. He liked it so much. He bought one for the back of his hiker trailer.. I’d definitely recommend it.

Best tent I’ve ever bought
This tent has been exceptional. I plan to use it year round. I have used it free standing for 4 months in a row now. During the winter I have been using it to hose my inflatable hot tub. This tent has gone through all kinds of weather, sun, wind, rain & snow and it’s held up exceptionally well. I plan to use it this summer to car camp and next winter to house the hot tub again. The tent is waterproof, through the rain and snow I have not seen it leak anywhere. The snow slides off the roof without my help. The high winds have not damaged it in any way. The windows are great for ventilation and keeping the bugs out. The tent is very roomy and it is tall enough that my 6’4” son doesn’t have to duck his head when he’s inside it. The tent is pretty easy to set up with one person. I’m 5’3” and I’m able to set it up on my own without any assistance. I have set it up standing alone and attached to my suv. This tent is a great investment and I will use it to its full potential and then some.

Great tent with a few drawbacks.
I've had a few tents like this, all of them have had their problems, but this is the best of them. First of all, it has all metal poles. The poles across the top take a lot of pressure when one person is setting up or breaking down. These won't break like the fiberglass ones on a past tent did. There's also a support pole between the two support arches and that makes a HUGE difference in ease of setup and breakdown, as well as stability. One problem with tents like this is that often water will end up in the tube that goes over the car. This is bound to happen and it's why that part is seperated from the rest of the tent. . . . this one solved the problem of water pooling by adding a screen on the bottom. Such a simple change that lets water drain. Speaking of which, with about 12 hours of rain varying in intensity from light to heavy thunderstorm, I had about 2 tablespoons of water get inside. That is the best of any of the SUV tents I've owned. I sleep in my SUV and use the tent as a changing area, bathroom if I'm someplace without services, and as a screened awning to hangout inside of when its wet or the bugs are too bad. This fit my toilet, a large square table, my large dog's cot, a small table, an oversized camping chair, and a few bags of stuff. We weren't cramped. Downside. Others have mentioned that there's a gap between the half wall in the front of the tent, and the tailgate. The problem is you have to set the first metal arch up right at the edge of the SUV. Close the gate before setting it up, and place the arch so that the door opens inside of it, not in front of it. That makes it easy to get into the back, but it makes it harder to open and shut the door as you have to work around the fabric inside of the tent. The halfwall is a bit too tall and narrow. As others have mentioned, I love the little vestibule, but I wish the screen also had a solid door instead of just relying on the slanted door up front. I also wish they'd added the grommets so that the door can be used as an awning. Definitely worth what I paid for it, especially compared to other similar tents that may be slightly cheaper, but way less quality.

Very well made worth the money
I used the WildFinder SUV Tent (5-9 person) with my 2021 Volkswagen Atlas R-Line during a rainy weekend camping trip. Setup was straightforward, taking about 20-25 minutes solo, though it would be easier with two people. The sleeve that attaches to the hatch fits decently on the Atlas, but it needed some adjustment around the spoiler to get a tighter seal. Rain performance was impressive. It rained steadily for about 10 hours, and the tent remained dry inside with no leaks through the seams or floor. Condensation was minimal thanks to the ventilation design, though you’ll still want to crack a window in the Atlas to reduce moisture. The rainfly does its job well, and the water beaded off easily.

Great for the money , spacious and best the durable.
We absolutely loved it, it rained all night and as said it was water resistant. Very satisfied with my purchase. The extra room was great to stand under and change , very roomy easy to setup and easy to package.

Worth it
So much bigger than I expected. The layout is great. Only downfall is the portion that goes under the vehicle isn’t as secure as I’d like but ended up you straps to tighten it so my pet couldn’t get out of love the two door option from the tent to the vehicle and and to the outside. Great product. Hope it holds up well

Not durable or good at keeping bugs out
Wouldn’t recommend! I got this tent for a camping trip and when I set it up there was still a gap under the car. It was pretty small but since it’s only elastic it was easy for bugs and anything else to get through. The front screen also ripped on the first day. Which was awful. My dog walked into it and just walked right through which I have never experienced with a tent and her before. Very unfortunate. Not what I was hoping for at all.

There is no "door" from your SUV to the tent, only a window
Finally used this about a month ago. Was able to put it up by myself. I love everything about it, EXCEPT it does not have a "door" from the back of your van/suv to the tent, it is only a window, which to me defeats the purpose of it. Other then that it is made well, plenty of room.

Car tent? Not very useful.
Is good as advertised, but really with one use, i realized car tent isnt really that useful. Unless you dont plan on going anywhere with your car once you get setup.
