These Chocolates arrived melted, but that was on me for ordering in the middle of triple digit summer weather. Package was one solid brick of chocolate, but I still used it for my desserts, and the chocolate tasted great! Had to keep others away from my brick of chocolate when I was trying to melt it lol

I opened the package and immediately thought, “Wait… where’s the chocolate from the pictures?” Instead of the neat little pieces shown on the website, I found one giant uneven black lump sitting in the box like some kind of prehistoric artifact. It wasn’t elegant. It wasn’t even candy-shaped. Honestly, it looked less like gourmet chocolate and more like something an elephant would leave behind after a stressful day at the zoo. I stared at it for a full minute trying to figure out what I was looking at. Was this food? Modern art? Was I supposed to chip pieces off with a kitchen knife like I was mining chocolate in the 1800s?

Use it for making chocolate ice cream. Delicious! We love it. Also makes great Hot Chocolate. Arrived melted, but it came on a warm day via the postal service in the back of a hot truck. I just let it harden again and chip off the amount I need for ice cream, weighing the chunks. Melts beautifully; thus melting in the postal truck wasn’t a problem for me at all. Update: Purchased the 5 lb bag as it’s almost half the price for the amount of chocolate I received. 45 cents an ounce vs. 81 cents plus I get to make 5 times the amount of ice cream and other chocolate-dipping goodies! win/win for me! Love this chocolate! PLUS the postal worker came early today and didn’t drive around with it in a hot truck all day; so it wasn’t melted. I don’t even have to chip this chocolate up which is nice as well. So glad I ordered the five pound bag! Latest update: Cold spell came in and we were craving hot chocolate. I put one wafer per ounce of milk and heated until melted. No sugar or anything else. Best hot chocolate we’ve ever had.

I bought this from Amazon because I ran out of chocolate and needed something quick for a same week order I had. I am glad I did. I am in loveeeeeeeeeee with this chocolate. In the past I have tried so many different brands to achieve the milky texture and have not came across any until I bought this. This is way better than Merkens, Wilton’s, Melt Craft, and Sweet Shoppe. This chocolate melts like ice cream on a summer day. It’s not thick at all. Makes it easy to dip treats because it’s not thick at all. I would definitely recommend.

The chocolate melts very well in the microwave. Easy to put into molds. The milk chocolate seems thin though and does not have a strong chocolate flavor. Not 100% sure i would buy again.

Melts smoothly and tastes delicious. Beautiful color for any occasion. Excellent quality and value.

Good product overall. However, it does not come with instructions whether to microwave or melt over double boiler. Also, as much as I acknowledge that it's 80-90 degrees in the summer, the pieces were all melted in one large blob during transit. I took the delivery inside soon after delivery, its already melted and re-solidified. There's probably no solution to that so be aware. That makes it messy to retrieve from the bag and made a mess over the stove. Fortunately, the blob melted just fine over hot water. If you're using food coloring (oil based) with it, make sure to have plenty on hand. The white pulls the colors. It required a lot a red to make it look red. Blue, green, and purple were fine. Bright colors like yellow and orange worked well.
