It works fine. Its not a great backpack and its not a great briefcase. Its affordable and does the job. Solid 3 stars.
The bag is Okay. It is priced at a level that makes it something that is definitely functional. I was overall happy with the quality of the backpack, and had zero issues using it for our trip carry-on item. There are reasons that this is only a 3-star backpack. The most annoying issue is that the way it's built, it does not carry very well on your back. This is especially true if you pack it somewhat full. It was honestly uncomfortable to carry around our cruise ports, and on more times than I want to recall, presented itself as a literal pain in the back. There are chest straps, which I utilized because it did somewhat help move the load more to your shoulders than your back, but even with it - my other backpacks were MUCH better. It is clear it was not designed as a day bag, with comfort in mind. It is set up to be a side carry bag or a backpack. Which it does not excel at either. The expandable pouch is nice, but I found that pocket to be somewhat limiting. The USB dongle was nice but later found out that many bags have 2 ports, as its pretty common to have a 2 port battery (which I have) and realized at the airport with my wife, that I could only charge one phone at a time. Again not a deal breaker, but you will find many other options that do offer 2 ports so there are options.Lastly, one of the bigger issues why IMO this cannot exceed a 3-star rating is that the "brand" if you can call it that plastered in clear view. The problem is that it's clearly a knockoff brand called "Fashion". I just look so apparently a Chinese knockoff, that it would have been so much better if they just left off the label altogether.

Affordable suitcase style backpack!
I will be updating this review as I go, I travel about once a month, so I will be updating it as I take new flights, more days, etc..I was looking for a smaller (less expensive) backpack that was similar to my ebags motherload backpack. I have been using a 35ltr backpack (kovea brand, bought it in korea), but needed something I can safely take my laptop in as well as have the organization of a full open suitcase style.***4 day trip on frontier airlines***I don't want to pay for checked or carry on luggage.. When I got the the airport I went to the frontier Air bag measuring device and it DID NOT FIT! frontier states that a carry (under seat) personal item must measure at 18 in x 14 in x 8 in... This item was a bit too tall and the depth was about 1inch too much. I still took my chances, and nobody said anything, so I got on the flight with no extra fees. For this trip I took: 2 pants, 3 long sleeve shirts, undergarments, 3 wool socks, extra shoes, a small gift, toiletries, laptop/charger, and a few odds and ends. I'm positive I could have put my jacket in the bag, but I wanted to keep it small as possible, so I carried my jacket...this backpack fit under the seat, but didn't have much room for my feet, which kinda sucked on a 3 hr flight. (see images)I am flying to NYC on delta, Lufthansa budget to London, and hopefully Ryan Air while in Europe, so I will let you know how those trips go!!***Update 2/6/19 3hr flight to NYC on delta budget***For this flight, I did not expand the backpack, so I couldn't fit any shoes in the bag, but it's ok. I had my laptop, cords, jacket, shirt, beanie, gloves, and some undergarments. I fit the backpack under the seat sideways and it fit perfect! (see picture)

This is the backpack
Want a solid "one-bag" backpack that doesn't cost more than all the stuff inside of it put together?! This one certainly fits the bill.Inexpensive and very well situated. I had no trouble packing for a weekend in this thing and flying on Spirit airlines with just a "personal item". It can size up larger but if you keep the compression straps down a bit and are careful how you pack it then it meets Spirit's size requirements no problem. I'm going to take it to Rome as a one-bag situation later this year, I have no doubt it'll serve me well there. Here is the basic packing list I did for my 4 day weekend get-away on Spirit:- Mavic 2 Pro with 3 batteries.- Surface Book 2 with power cable.- GPD Win 2.- 20,000 mAh USB C battery.- 5,000 mAh charging phone case- Surge protector with USB charging ports.- Bose QC35s- Blueparrott X450s (headset for meetings).- Canon G7X II + Joby Mini- Portable Projector with additional hardware.- USB C dock with HDMI cable.- Cell phone mount for my rental car + 12v USB power adapter- Assorted Charging Cables- Three Shirts- Extra pair of pants.- 2 pairs Underwear- 2 pairs socks. It fit all of this without breaking a sweat. And it was comfortable on my back as well. Very impressed. I imagine if I packed it to its true size I could probably fit quite a bit more. The USB port thing is a bit of a gimmick. I don't expect to use it. But the bag itself is 5 stars at the moment.

OMG I love this bag (did not expect that much)
Let me say that I once met Christian Bale in NY. Very fast encounter but I noticed his backpack and from that time I have been looking for something similar. This one is definitely not the exact same but it's the closest I found so far.My criteria that this bag met are :- High quality materials, stitches & feeling- A bag which does not "collapse" when empty or half empty- lots of room in a compact format- design (pun intended, regarding the "design" cheap brand on the front)What I love :- Lots of space !- Very well designed, easily accessible pockets- Do not collapse when empty or half empty (its shape stays the same)- Comfortable, padded shoulder straps, padded back.- Can fit 2/3 days clothes + computer and stuff - everything I need for a weekend getaway or a business trip.- TSA size compliant for carry-onWhat I would like in a future revision :- a way to remove/store shoulder straps when you use the bag as a hand bag- usb 3.0 compliant port, the one included does not charge fast enough- finally, I agree with other comments that the brand "design" adds a cheap touch to an overall very nice backpack. Look at the picture, I "hacked" the brand with a simple black sharpie to transform a cheap brand into a more modern kind of nordic brand π. It's much better now !Overall I honestly love this bag.

I loved this bag
I loved this bag. I bought it so that I could bring my school stuff when my family went on a trip to Florida for my reading week. I was able to fit everything I needed into it and it was not heavy. The material is great and the compartments are amazing. I highly recommend this product.
