I was sceptical initially whether cooler would be effective in Bangalore for its climate. I have been thinking about this for almost two years. Have been following symphony brand over a period of time. Then saw this and I liked the looks. The rating was not very good a mere 3.1 on amazon. Had lot of doubts, but went ahead and purchased during lightning deal at 300 less I.e. 5200. There was additional hdfc offer for 10% discount but did not avail it since I don't have this card. Effective price could have been 4700 but I was ready to miss it. Product delivered on time. Received in good condition nothing to complain. Filled water and started it and did the job. Very importantly had the cooling effect. But ensure all the doors and windows are kept open for it to be more effective. Good air throw for 2 people. Don't expect more at this price. This will be used only in the summer months. Water gets concentrated and started showing salt deposits on the surface of the wetted parts. One fill of water is sufficient for 16 hours. We use it 8 hours in the night and 8 hours during the day. Next thing I want to tell you about is the draining point. Yes there is rubber cock at the bottom but don't try to pull it downwards, push it upwards for it to open. When you push up the cock gets into the water tank. Once the water is drained completely is when I faced my first problem. I was not able to reach the bottom of the water tank without hurting my hands. Fitting the cock back in position is a real task. Cleaning the deposits inside the tank is impossible. You can just pour water and the dirt and scales still remain. There is no way to reach it. Hated it for this cramped design. After the summer months I am planning to put a liter of vinegar and switch on the pump to remove the scales so that it is ready for the next summer. This is just my plan. There is no remote and its fine with me. I have a table fan and it does not have a remote and I am fine with it, so no worries here I can get up and operate it. Better to drain the concentrated water every week so that cooler is clean. If we do only top up then the TDS will shoot up and it will lead to more scaling and deposits. One mire issue i faced is that the wheels came off within 2 days. I know it can be fitted back. But gave a bad impression when i lifted the cooler and the wheels fell off. I will stick them in place with a glue gun, but not expected. Overall rating is a good buy for the Bangalore summer of 2 months. Just for 2 months I did not want to invest on an AC and pay 30k, so I know I made the right choice. Power consumption is also less. Don't know why people have rated it too low. People should be fair while rating. If they close all the rooms and switch on cooler temperature will not come down. For this reason we cannot blame the cooler.

Product looking is ok. But not cooling properly. 12×10 size room but product is not satisfactory. Very noisy. When cooler is on sound is too much. Noisy level is too high. If you are thinking low noise cooler, do not purchase

Writing this review after used atleast 10 days more..cooling is effective. Fill the complete tank, it lasts full night and till nxt mrng. WORTH purchase. Only drawback is the inlet water filling is not convenient backside of cooler..water filling option could've provided front side. However, it's negligible.
