Does this foam up or does it stay more like a cream?

This comes out of the can as a gel and then turns into more like a shaving cream as you spread it on. I'm not sure if that answers your question or not. It's definitely not like a hand lotion or hand cream but more like a shaving cream. But it isn't foamy like foaming soaps. Ugh, hope that helps.

No, the gel is opaque. A bit on the pale yellow side to be specific. No, you cannot see the hair you are shaving.

You do not need a brush to use this cream. Put a little gel on your fingertips and another gently on your face and it becomes cream like. This is a great product as a moisturizes your face or your legs.
