'My Dad' Celebration Garden Rose Bush in 5.5lt Pot (Live Plants)

The rose was delivered, and the outer packaging was damaged. After taking the outer off, it was then I saw the pot the rose was supposd to be planted in, it had been crushed, so was badly split. As a result the roots of the rose were exposed as most of the soil had come out of the pot into the bottom of the packaging, and over half of the foliage was crushed too. As it had been bought as a suprise gift, I had no alternative but to plant it and hope for the best. It has just begun to grow flowers but its growth is very stunted. It is a pity, because it should have been a beautiful plant.

Arrived well before estimated delivery from Longacres Garden Centre. Looking forward to seeing it in her garden once we can get together again.

Healthy plant when arrived

Healthy plant which I kept under wraps for a few weeks but it is now starting to bud and my dad is looking forward to looking very red blooms!
