Prefolds are also known as folding nappies, system nappies or California nappies. Prefolds are one of the easiest cloth diaper solutions. This method is unbeatably cheap and just as flexible. You can put the XKKO prefolds in a overtrousers or attach them directly to the child with a Snappi or Boingo winch clip. It is always advisable to have a stock of prefolds, especially for newborns, or simply as a backup. The prefolds are made from 4 x 8 x 4 layers of 100 % organic cotton, which become softer and more absorbent, the longer you use them. There is a choice between an unbleached (natural) or a white (oxygen bleached) variant. The prefolds are available in four sizes. The prefolds are coloured for easy size recognition: Newborn (yellow hem), small (orange hem), medium (red hem), and large (green hem). 6 pieces per pack. Sizes: (measured before washing, prefolds shrink by approx. 10 %), newborn (yellow hem), 29 cm x 30.5 cm (2 kg - 5 kg), small (orange hem), 32 cm x 34 cm (3 kg - 7 kg), medium (red hem), 35.5 cm x 40.5 cm (5 kg - 11 kg), large (green hem), 38 cm x 46 cm (7 kg - 14 kg). Can also be used as a suction pad for any pocket diaper, suitable for most overtrousers, 100 % organic cotton for newborns: popular in the Czech Republic. Place the insert horizontally with the two seams and fold as shown in the picture. Then insert the folding nappy into the overtrousers. If the boys get bigger, we recommend folding the nappy at the front to achieve a greater suction performance in the front area. This method is particularly suitable for nursing chairs or swaddling.
