What my stove needed
This is nice cover to hide my hideous stove lol and love that it is fireproof. it comes with the Silicon gap cover protects the gap from all debris , and is of good quality. Good buy.

Great useful item - protects glass stove top well
Thicker than expected, easy to wipe clean, fits standard size stove top perfectly (US) protects glass stove top from scratch & marks as i sometimes have to use the space during prep also...well worth buying!

Don’t be fooled, you can’t cook on it. Please read carefully
For starters, the video on this product is very mis-leading implying that you can use the matt on top as you cook and that there’s no significant difference but If you do that, massive amounts of toxic smoke will be produced. Besides that, the border is a terrible thing preventing a clean and neat look. Also, not true the temperature resistance is definitely much lower.

Not thrilled
I bought this cover to protect my stove top and because it stated it was safe to over 1000 degrees. Because my new stove is so easy to turn the burners on, I thought it would be a good idea. Every crumb, hair etc sticks to this making it hard to clean.

Do not place dishes from the oven on cover.!!!
When using this cover, the stove top remains cool. I have been loving the cover. I received it during the black Friday sale. Last night I placed a dish from the oven on the cover to cool down. You need to tell people to place something on top of the stove prior to placing a dish coming from the oven. My cover melted and shrunk.
