Effortless precision for complex measurements - a tool worth investing in!
Okay let’s look at this Inkerma Dual Laser Measuring Tool. My first impression was that it's a very compact yet rigid tool. Designed with dual lasers, this device is aimed to save time by measuring in two directions simultaneously - an efficiency boost that seemed ideal for my ongoing home renovation project. With a range of 525 feet and accuracy within 2mm (wow!) I was eager to try it out! Awesome features like area and volume calculation, Pythagorean mode, and a tilt angle sensor add to its usability and versatility, while the rechargeable lithium battery provides a whooping 5,000+ measurements per charge. Using the tool was both intuitive and, at times, frustrating. Switching between modes was seamless, and the bright, graphical display made reading measurements straightforward. Measuring room dimensions and calculating areas for flooring and paint were incredibly fast and accurate. However, for more complex tasks like Pythagorean calculations, I had to keep the manual close - its many features require a learning curve. One surprising issue was the lack of clear instructions on where to attach the wrist strap - there is no hole for it in the device itself! I ended up looping it through the carrying case, which felt like a “hack” rather than an intended design choice. The accuracy was reliable for most tasks, but I noticed minor discrepancies when holding the device by hand for angle measurements - a steady surface proved essential. The rechargeable battery was convenient and incredibly long lasting - I never had to recharge so far during my whole renovation project! Finally, while the device’s portability and protective case were appreciated, the case’s belt loop required undoing my belt to attach it - an oversight that could’ve been avoided with a Velcro strap. Overall, the Inkerma tool has proven invaluable for quick, precise measurements and eliminating the need for manual calculations. It’s a sophisticated device with many features most users will find practical, but the occasional usability hiccup and design quirks hold it back from being perfect. Still, it’s an excellent and highly valuable tool! Bottom line: The Inkerma Dual Laser Measuring Tool is compact, precise, and packed with features like dual-laser measurements, area and volume calculations, and a tilt angle sensor. Its 525-foot range and 2mm accuracy make it ideal for renovations, while a rechargeable battery offers over 5,000 measurements per charge. It's intuitive for basic tasks, though advanced features like Pythagorean mode require a learning curve. Minor drawbacks include unclear wrist strap placement, case design flaws, and slight inaccuracies in handheld angle measurements. Overall, it's a versatile tool for quick, precise work, but not without some quirks. Despite minor drawbacks, it’s an excellent tool that I recommend to everyone. 5 stars in my book! Pros: 1. Compact and sturdy design. 2. Dual lasers for simultaneous measurements. 3. Accurate up to 2mm with a 525-foot range. 4. Includes area, volume, and Pythagorean calculations. 5. Tilt angle sensor for added versatility. 6. Rechargeable battery lasts for 5,000+ measurements. 7. Bright display and intuitive controls. 8. Protective case for safe transport. Cons: 1. Advanced features require a learning curve. 2. No clear instructions for wrist strap placement. 3. Handheld angle measurements can be inaccurate.

Precision with Efficiency
The Inkerma Dual Laser Measuring Tool is for anyone looking to take precision, efficiency, and convenience to the next level. Whether you're a professional contractor, interior designer, or DIY enthusiast, this device delivers on every promise. I've used it for numerous measurements thus far and am highly satisfied. Here's why it deserves its marks: 1. Dual Measurement = Efficiency: The dual laser system is a standout feature, allowing simultaneous measurements to be taken in two directions. This significantly reduces the time and effort required for large or complex projects. Coupled with the built-in tilt angle feature, it's incredibly versatile for angle measurements in multiple orientations—perfect for those tricky, hard-to-reach spots. However, for a more precise measurement, ensure it is held against a steady surface. 2. Exceptional Accuracy and Range: The Inkerma delivers reliable results with an impressive measuring range of up to 525 feet and accuracy. I have double-checked every measurement taken thus far, which has been fairly accurate to a few centimeters. Whether measuring long distances or calculating angles, this tool ensures consistency. The rechargeable lithium battery is a huge plus, lasting a long time. I have used it almost daily for a few weeks, and it is still going. 3. Comprehensive Measurement Modes: This tool goes beyond simple length measurements, offering continuous measurement, area and volume calculations, and even the Pythagorean theorem for indirect height/width measurements. Its seamless switch between bilateral and single laser modes makes it versatile for many applications, from straightforward tasks to intricate calculations. An angle detector is included for some of the more complicated angle measurements, and the instructions help navigate the unit to get accurate readings every time. 4. Intuitive and User-Friendly: The straightforward controls allow you to toggle between modes, units, and measurement references quickly. The Inkerma is intuitive and easy to learn, even for those new to laser measuring tools. It's a tool that caters to professionals and beginners alike. 5. Compact and Portable Design: Despite its advanced features, the Inkerma is lightweight and portable. It fits neatly into the included carrying bag. The package is thoughtfully packed with everything you need: the RS-525 laser distance meter, a Type-C charging cable, a user manual, a sturdy carrying case, and a wrist strap. Final Thoughts: The Inkerma Dual Laser Measuring Tool is a reliable, efficient, and versatile device that exceeds expectations. Its dual-laser capability, range of modes, and user-friendly design make it an invaluable addition to any toolkit. However, there is no clear indication of how to attach the wrist strap, and I wish the carrying case had a velcro strap instead of an attached belt loop so that I did not have to remove my belt when using it and removing it. However, if this is going to be attached to a work belt, then it is not a problem because you can remove the work belt. Since the unit has a good texture and allows for a firm grip, I left the wrist strap off since I could not find a way to attach it.

Where on the unit can you connect the safety lanyard
I do not see anywhere on the unit to attach the hand lanyard to the actual unit. You might be able to attach it to the black carry case which the unit goes inside of but why? I want to use the lanyard when I am holding and measuring so if it slips out of my hand it will not fall to the ground and get damaged. As someone that uses laser distos and other laser devices on a daily basis I know the importance of protecting your investments. As a fall might not break it but may throw it out of calibration. Why why why can’t I attach the hand held lanyard to the device. You would get 5 stars but I am seriously considering returning this as My work on trade shows I can use it on the ground to measure the height of truss and sometimes I am 40’ in the air in a aerial lift using the disto to measure my distance to the floor. Now the hand lanyard would be ideal to protect my investment if it were to slip from my hand while up in the aerial rig. Seriously put a little hole on the side so I can attach the safety lanyard to the tool. Will consider returning if I can get a safer model

Great digital tape measure with a steep learning curve
I've wanted a digital tape measure forever so I grabbed this one. I think it's an extremely good unit, but there is or was, a steep learning curve for the tape measure. Certain things are fairly straightforward but given it's digital nature, there is a lot going on. There are two sets of laser dots that go out from the front and the back. The unit seems really well constructed and there's a beautiful backlit LED display which makes things very readable. I can't speak to the longevity but if you're looking for a digital tape measure, this one seems to be built well and fairly durable with rubber bump stops around the edge for drop protection. Ovearll, I'd recommend.

Very Well Made and Accurate
Very well made and accurate. Saves time and eliminates the need to have someone holding the "dummy end" of the tape measure—perfect size for easily carrying to the job site. Takes the guesswork out of determining square footage, especially in hard-to-reach places with tall ceilings.

Craig, crash, crash - operating system crash, I think it might be the underpowered 1000mAh battery.
Never been so frustrated. I try to use it and it crashes. Reset it, crashes. It has a very small 1000mAh battery so it could be the battery cannot hold a charge but this should have been checked by QC before it shipped. Very disappointed.

Great measure with nice usability features
I've been using a very expensive laser measuring device for a long time but it lacks features so I have been looking for a more reasonable priced modern model with extra features. This meter seemed a good option and on arrival it certainly looks good. The first thing I really like is the grippy surface which is so much better than the standard plastic on my expensive version and these are tools you don't want to drop. It comes with a pouch but one odd thing is its provided with a wrist strap which is nice and grippy, but there's nowhere to fit it. Usually there is a small hole in one corner but the case is sealed with only recesses for the four screws holding it together. The screen is a generous size and has a nice back light but it's not the brightest so may be difficult to read if sunlight hits it but that should be avoidable. It has a number of the usual modes of operation for area, volume etc and can measure from the front and back, but the extra feature I was after is the dual laser. When measuring walls vertically or very long walls horizontally this makes it easier to use without stooping down or trying the aim over a long distance. I like the green LEDs at each end that indicate the laser at that end being on which is another nice feature not found on my expensive measure. I tested it against a tape measure and my other laser measure it was very consistent but for me it was always 2mm under. This is within specification but it would have been good if an adjustment value could be entered which some models allow. The meter also has a digital inclinometer and this worked well and makes those centre wall measurements using both lasers more accurate. For the cost of £64.99and 160m range its priced appropriately and there is also a slightly shorter range model for being wishing to save a little, and for most of us such long ranges aren't required.
