I am now a master soldierer, I mean solderer with my new Sugo T21. I went from hating soldering work to actually being able to make my welds look good for an amateur. It keeps my tips handy for change and the settings work great. I keep the cord unplugged in-between sessions. The way this is designed is extremely friendly as well as easy to take in and out if the holder. The cable management is amazing. My very expensive digital Weller is great but not for more delicate work like I do. Great oroduct. I use it regularly. I just turned it off. It’s still hot.

I needed a soldering iron that has a tiny tip that works for small pitch SMD parts, like 0.4mm pitch connectors or 0201 resistors. Also I didn't want one with a huge handle because it would be hard to articulate the tip into small places on our PCBs. Furthermore I do work in the USA and also travel to China so I need it to support 120V and 220V without a converter, which appears to be quite rare among the irons on Amazon. This iron checks all these boxes. The tip is super tiny yet can get very hot if needed, and the handle is like a pencil. I really like the fact it turns off the heat when you put it back in the stand so it doesn't just sit there burning away your tip. When you take the handle out of the stand, the tip heats up very quickly and is already at temperature by the time you get to your workpiece. The tips are easy to switch out and it comes with a blade tip for larger components if need be. This is so much better than the Weller it replaced for less than half the cost. I recommend it.

I’d have to agree with the other four-star review it’s quality is not top notch a lot of plastic parts doesn’t seem like it’s gonna last very long but the station does a very good job of controlling temperature heating to the proper temperature and for the price it’s not bad. It’s nice that it allows you to change the tips without having to stop your work. on the other hand It’s a little awkward because it takes a little bit of dexterity to do it.

So basically to keep this short, the air gun is no getting hot enough to actually remove smd components. However I will say the unit itself actually seems well built, I was impressed with the quality but let down by the air gun. I just sent a message to the seller asking if maybe we can just replace the air gun or if I have to return the whole unit. (I Will Update This Review As Soon As I Have Any Information)

Used it numerous times now, a very good tool for its price. I like that it uses common soldering tip size. It heats up instantly and i love to see how it senses the heat escaping from the iron lol Overall, 5/5.
