I recently got the MetFut Cooling Stand to use with my ASUS Zenbook, and while it's still the end of winter, meaning I can't fully gauge its cooling effectiveness yet, I can share my thoughts on its build quality and functionality. The stand is heavy-duty and incredibly solid—made from carbon steel, and it feels like it's built to last. The Peltier cooling pad and removable thermoelectric cooler are interesting features, though I’ll have to wait for warmer temperatures to see how well they perform. The adjustable platform is stiff to move, but once set up with the help of the included small spanner and Alan-key, it holds its position firmly. It rotates smoothly with a light touch but doesn’t shift on its own, which is great for repositioning without hassle. The silicon pads on the base prevent scratches on my desk. A key downside for me is that the fan speed is not adjustable. The two fans are also quite noisy, which might be an issue for anyone sensitive to sound. I work from home, but if you work in a quiet environment, I'd say this would be a real drawback. Overall, the MetFut Laptop Cooling Stand delivers on its description in terms of stability, adjustability, and durability. The weight and stiffness make it feel premium but might require some effort to adjust in the beginning. The cooling performance remains to be tested in hotter conditions, but the noise level and lack of fan control are notable drawbacks, and lead me to take away one star from this otherwise good product.

ノートPCの内部で結露が発生し、ショートによりPCが壊れました。 ペルチェ素子のクーラーパネルにノートPCの底面が接するのはとても危険です。 何も載せずにクーラーを動かしてみるとわかると思いますが、ペルチェ素子のクーラーパネルが強力なために、パネル上に結露による水滴が発生します。 ノートPCの底面がこのパネルに接していると、当然のPCの内部で結露が発生してしまいます。 これによって結露で生じた水滴により基盤上でショートが発生してPCが壊れてしまいました。 スタンド自体のつくりはとてもしっかりしていて良いものですが、ペルチェ素子タイプのクーラーはとても危険です。 空冷のみのタイプのほうが安全だと思います。

I just want to say that this cooler stand is one of the best I've used. It's sturdy, solid and balanced. The thermoelectric cooler has a spectacular cooling effect, especially for gaming laptops. I would say this stand is best suited for 14/15 inch laptops. I have an ASUS G14 and can clearly notice a difference in performance when using the cooler. The 5W mode is efficient for productivity task and daily work, and the 20W is better used under heavy gaming or rendering but it requires a separate cable + capable adapter. Another one up is for the vendor who sent me a brand new replacement (attached) when my cooler's right fan had developed a noticeable buzz to it. I thought they would send me a replacement part for the fan, but they sent me a whole new unit, exceeding my expectations with this product. Thank you!
