A really rich cream without feeling sticky or heavy. I've tried the Santal (still my fave) and now the Shea Soleil and love the way they smell. The scent is stronger at first but dry down to a very subtle scent. I absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. If you like to layer with perfume, Saltair have a lot of complementary scents to play with. But I only use at night now. I case you don't know, this pairs so nicely with The Ordinary's Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion. Just empty the bottle into the body butter (there is more than enough room) and mix them together and you have a 1% solution. I have fair skin and it can be sensitive, so I use this every other night. These two products cost less than $35 and rival the performance of other brands (like Paula's Choice) for a fraction of the cost. You'l look smoother and glowier all around.

This is my favorite scent by Saltair. I use it as the final step in their 3-step cleansing / moisturizing routine and my dry, sensitive, eczema-prone skin has never been better. After years of trying product after product, I finally found one that worked instantly. I highly recommend to anyone. It’s not greasy at all. Soaks in beautifully, and leaves my legs dewy moisturized, glowing, smooth, and itch-free. And bonus! I smell amazing all day.

Great moisturizing formula with a light scent that is great for layering with other fragrances The scent isnt super strong, buts its very soft, creamy, and woody, and melts into a "your-skin-but-better" scent. It layers amazingly with any vanilla fragrance or body spray that has a sandalwood base. Its so versatile. I have so many vanilla perfumes and with this body cream as a base, they all last longer and have a bit more depth to them. The formula is amazing. It gives me skin a glow and my skin feels soft all day long.

I am so in love with this body butter. My skin feels like it rejuvenates after I use it and the scent is so real! It lingers in my skin so It doubles as everyday perfume (My skin will hold on to certain scents a bit more than other's so this may vary for you). It feels rich but NOT HEAVY so your skin will feel moisturized and elastic again without feeling greasy. I bought two of them and added retinol to the other one and OMG! it started to work. (I keep the retinol one in the fridge tho) PLEASE TALK WITH YOUR DERMATOLOGIST FIRST. Just because it works foe me it doesnt mean it will for you, always check with your doc. But yeah. Just the body butter on it's own is a great deal because a little goes a long way!

I go the Shea Soleil. Mine did not come with an outer wrap seal and when I opened the lid, I can tell it has been used or opened as there were dried product on the edges of the inner lid. There was a large air bubble and after it settled, its not full but more like 80% full. Not sure if this is everyone's experience. This is a light body butter, more of a souffle than true body butter. The scent is more on the subtle side, sweet vanilla and pineapple mango, not unique or complex, but more of a generic scent like the rest on the market you have smelled ahem, like an Olay body wash. I do wish it had less or cleaner ingredients, less of the franken ingredients so its more natural. The scent is not cloying or fake chemical smelling so I am going to keep it as I needed a moisturizer for my summer vacation.

This is the most wonderful body butter. The smell is heavenly and it melts right into your skin. It's non- greasey and frrls wonderful on your skin. I feel like it makes my skin look smoother and firmer.

This by far has to be one of my favorite body butter. It smells like Sandlewood, but the scent is not over powering. It's a light, airy, scent that dissipates fairly quickly which is important to me because I suffer from migraines. The butter is rich enough and thick enough that it soaks into my skin fairly quickly. It's non-greasy, my husband loves the smell of it, and I will be reordering this again.

Smooth creamy goes right into the skin. Not greasy! Wonderful scent. Does more for my dry skin than cera ve ever did.
