They work good
They work on hardie board backer, but didn't like the way I had to put a lot of pressure on them to cut through it, but i do like that the head on screwsare wide and sink flush, I've used exterior treated screws before and they, cut right into hardie boards I think a lot faster, but small head and may not always flush down as far. All in all not bad .

Hardie Backer Screws
These are great for hardie board. With a impact drill they go in easily. They come with the torx #25 that you need to screw them in.

Used these for hardie plank and it works great!
Bought these to install hardie plank on my old house. The screws work great and hold quite firmly! Forget buying a expensive nail gun just use these!
