Does this mount rotate so you can point it where you want like the standard helmet mount does?

Yep. It has preset angles that it “snaps” to. I’ll post a picture of mine when I can.

As an aside, I’ve mounted it on a genuine Opscore (ARC), and it’s loose. I’ve mounted it on a Revision Batlskin rail, and it’s loose. I’ve mounted it on a Crye AirFrame rail (made by Opscore), and it’s loose. I’ve also got a knockoff Opscore bump helmet with rails, and it’s loose.

The dovetail-shaped (wedge) base that slides into these rails is simply not the correct dimension (wide enough). It wiggles, works free and slides. It’ll pop out of the rail if you try turnturn/adjust it. The only fix is to make up or shim the difference with a pliable material, such as a piece of a Ranger Band. I saw another dude who wrapped the base with one of the black bands that come with SOFTT tourniquets to make it fit during an op.

SureFire surely can and should fix this issue.

Will this work on a team Wendy rail

A reviewer said he had to use a mallet to get his to fit. I just used a hammer and a Allen wrench to force mine in. It is a tight fit but it isn't going anywhere. That's with a Team Wendy rail

For those who have made this work on a team wendy exfil was it rail 2.0 or rail 3.0? i don't see how it would work on either. tia

While I am unfamiliar with the team Wendy I don't see how ops core would be able to mount on 2.0 or 3.0 either. They are nothing alike.

Does this slide into the helmet rail, or do I need to add another attachment, my helmet came with different attachments?
