I give this 5 stars because the idea of this product is so cute, and I really wanted to make something special for my furbaby’s birthday. I’ll be honest though, I’m pretty sure the failure was on me, not the product. The prep process felt like a bit of a hassle, and I got frustrated, so I ended up giving it to my cats without fully finishing it or adding the icing. They still ate about a fourth of it, which is a win in my book. The smell wasn’t great, but cat food rarely is, and the day was about her, not me. If I buy it again, I’ll make sure to follow the steps correctly because the concept is adorable and the included tray mold is actually really useful. Worst case, I can use the mold to shape regular canned pâté into cute little fish shapes and top it with treats.

Even though it was easy to make, it smelled horrible. I fought through the smell because it was my boys first birthday and I was excited for them to have a cake. It crumbled as I took it out but I still frosted it. We lit the candle it came with, sang an incredible rendition of “Happy Birthday” and blew out the candle. I would have let the boys do it but they are still too little to be playing with fire! We set down their plates and waited for them to devour it only to have them sniff it and walk away. It’s a very cute idea but maybe work on the flavor. Side note: it’s a waste to open a can of pumpkin for 1 tablespoon.

My cat turned 1 yesterday, so i decided to make a cake for her and i found this product. It's easy to make and the instructions are pretty clear. But after it's done, my cat who eats everything won't even lick it, and her older brother won't even come near it even if i put their favorite tuna. At least we got to take a picture and it's kinda cute, even if we have to throw it away after because they won't even licked it. For me it's such a waste of money. And it also smells nasty if we didn't put the tuna. The smells came from the package mix, it's not like cat food smell or anything related, it's kind weird.

My cat personally didn’t like it but overall the cake itself was a 10/10 was very easy to make and quick and was super cute and cool for a birthday cake as a pet I really enjoyed this for my pet.

Did not realize when I purchased that you needed a can of pumpkin. Luckily I happened to have one lol. Very easy instructions and super cute for pictures. Broke apart a bit coming out of the mold. Love that it came with a birthday candle even though we didn’t light it. Only 1 kitty really liked it and ate enough to make it worth it.

My cats did not like this at all. I have 1 extremely picky eater, and 2 that will eat just about anything. None of them would even touch it. Mind you, they get fed a variety of flavors (including turkey) every week. I'm only giving two stars because it was easy to make, cute for decor purposes, and the cakes actually came out of the pan pretty easily. Also note that it stunk up my entire apartment for a few hours until a candle dissipated the smell.

These were so quick and easy to make. We used them for my cats one year home celebration and they were perfect. My cats can be picky with foods, so I wasn’t expecting either of them to like it. We decided to put treats on top as eyes and in hopes of luring the cats in. The celebratory girl didn’t want to try the cake, but her brother loved them. We had no issues with the microwave smell others are mentioning. I only came across one minor problem. I did have to cut the tops and edges because they came out uneven, but that was an easy fix. Also, it came with a candle, which we did not use and comes with a tray that can be reused! Overall, so cute and very affordable compared to other cakes. Made our little celebration feel complete. Even if both cats didn’t like it I’d still recommend for the aesthetic. They really make the occasion feel special and are the perfect centerpiece.

I got this for my cat’s second birthday and waited the allotted time before frosting it, while I was making the cake part of it my boyfriend said that I made a disgusted look and said it smelled while it was cooking, the cakes were HARD when I took them out to frost, both cake and frosting mix looked super CLUMPY when mixing, my cat only sniffed them then walked away. Side note: waste of money to use only a tablespoon of Pumpkin and 2 tablespoons of Bone Broth especially for something to come out ROCK HARD and ugly , would not recommend buying
