Sea Salt Fine - Unrefined Mineral Salt, 5 lb Bag (1 Pack)

Good salt and great value for the money. It comes in a large bag and has a very fine texture. It’s not overly salty—just the right balance. I bought it about six months ago and still have half a bag left, so it definitely lasts a long time. I mainly use it for everyday cooking like sautéing, soups, etc. I wouldn’t use it for salads, though—it’s very fine, and a coarser salt works better for that.

I wanted to share this Himalayan salt because the quality really surprised me. This bag is 5 pounds, so it lasts a long time and the price is really good for the amount you get.

I ordered this fine Himalayan Chef Sea Salt thinking I was getting white sea salt. The zipper cloth bag it came in, has a tag that reads Himalayan Chef Himalayan Pink Salt, Net Wt. 80 Oz (5Lb) 2268g. I like that the bag has handles on the top. This salt is fine, but it is not pink and it is not all white. It has little specks of other colors mixed through it. See photos. The inner plastic bag was sealed, when I received it. It tastes like salt. I will use it. It just isn’t all white, like I understood white sea salt to be. The Ingredients list reads, Himalayan Sea Salt. It is Kosher, Vegan, Halal, and non GMO.

This Himalayan Chef Sea Salt comes in a zippered bag, and inside that is a sealed plastic bag. The salt is finely ground and is, well, salty. 70+ minerals in this salt. Great if you need a more of salt and it's great on anything that you would use salt for.

I can’t really tell the difference in the salt than anything else. I like that it’s fine grain. It’s not clumpy, but I have to say this bag is really cute that it comes in.
