Ein richtig gutes Gerät (bis jetzt 4 Wochen im Gebrauch)- schnell und effizient. Made in Mexico! Das Einzige, was evtl. in der Basisausstattung fehlt ist eine weitere flache Spitze, aber die bekommt man für paar Euro separat und das funktioniert! Top!

This is a spectacularly versatile soldering station, and is incredibly simple to use. I purchased this after my old (cheaper) Weller finally kicked the bucket through no fault of its own, and from the first use I was incredibly impressed. The unit feels really solid and heavy, and it's so easy to set the temperature you need with the up/down arrows. It reaches the temperature you set astonishingly fast too, as well as cooling to lower temperatures again when needed. Another nice feature is the "auto standby" function, where it will automatically reduce the temperature to a safe level after a few minutes of no use to prevent oxidising or damaging the tip while sitting idle. This has come in handy a couple of times when working on guitar electronics, which can sometimes turn into a fiddly job and wire routing might take a little longer than expected while the iron is sitting in its stand. This is a great investment. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but the quality far surpasses the price.
