Rubies Green Mechanical Dragon Wings for Adults, Unisex No Size

I couldn't have been more thrilled with the Mechanical Wings Costume Accessory in green, which I used for my Halloween dragon costume. The excitement was real, and these wings turned my costume into a true showstopper. The kids and adults during trick-or-treating were absolutely enchanted by them. I lost count of how many inquiries I received about where to get these wings! The pulley system is incredibly user-friendly, and what's truly remarkable is how they move so smoothly without anyone noticing me pulling on the strings. The effect was mesmerizing, adding a magical touch to my costume. In terms of durability, these wings exceeded my expectations. They endured the entire Halloween night without a hitch. The only minor downside was that the elastic straps that go over the shoulders felt a tad tight on me, and I have a medium build. Nevertheless, this was a small inconvenience compared to the sheer delight and attention these wings brought to my dragon costume. Overall, these Mechanical Wings are a fantastic accessory, and I highly recommend them for adding that extra wow factor to your costume. They truly made my Halloween unforgettable.

I used these wings as a base for my Mardi Gras Dragon costume. I love that when folded they don't take up much room, which was necessary to get through the dense crowds of the French Quarter. The fabric that comes on these wings is cheap and only printed on one side, so I found some black holographic scaley fabric and sewed a panel on each side of the wings. Next I wanted to cover the exposed plastic so I took leather from an old couch, painted it, and glued it into the panel making scales. Finally I wanted to address the shoulder straps. They were really tight and not comfortable enough to wear all day, so I cut them off and fed the straps of a leather harness through instead- it worked perfectly! With the extra weight of my customizations the wings couldn't open all the way but that's okay, and the string came off the rings you pull a few times but a quick box knot fixed it. It held up and was comfortable to wear all Mardi Gras day even though people kept running into them. Highly recommend using these as a frame for a costume. It's lightweight and a lot came be done with them.

I bought these wings for my son's LARPing birthday to be the final monster they fought at the end of the party. The wings were wonderful. The kids were all had fun. They withstood two battles of with eight 9-12 year olds beating on it with foam swords. My husband wore this and the "Forum Novelties Unisex Dragon Half Mask Accessory" in green and it was very impressive. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the strings that make the wings extend are very short so my husband couldn't hold them while fighting because, he couldn't hold them while his arm was outstretched. But all in all they are great we'll just have to extend the strings for the next battle.

My 9 year old wore these for Halloween this year in a costume she made up on her own. These wing’s really made it come together to identify her as at least a dragon of some sort. She won most creative costume at school, and she also brought joy to whoever saw her wings move. I would gladly pay double for such an amazing experience all because of these wings. They do appear somewhat delicate, but they are still holding up!

They work great! And are so impressive when opened! These were a huge hit all OVER the neighborhood on Halloween! Even more fun was when my daughter rode her scooter with them on, the wind would open them & it looked like she was soaring. Definitely worth the money!!

I used the green dragon wings as a base for woodland fairy wings. They held up very well! I did accidentally hot glue one of the cords down, which caused one of the wings to not extend, but I was able to fix it.

This out of the package is.... ok. But I made some adujustments and fixes and now it's works beautifully! I am modifying this set to make it custom to me and I've seen some awesome mods. So buy it if you know you're going to improve on it. The straps out of the package where too tight and some of it was almost falling apart. If you buy this just as is you maybe slighty disappointed. Despite the flaws it's pretty decent. 3 stars Only for the wings themselves AS packaged. Other then that 5 stars if you modify and fix the straps yourself which is very easy.

Work exactly as they are supposed to and will be a great base for costume wings. Will update review when build is finished
