I love a good tape that keeps things in place and the clean look it affords without using fasteners. This tape does its job exceptionally well and is fairly easy to work with.

I am converting a closet into a recording booth and using 12 x 12 x 1 foam panels as sound proofing. One set of panels are "mushroom top" and the instructions recommended this product for applying the panels. For ease of use, this took a some time, yet once it was started it was no problem. In order to peel the red backing from the tape itself, using fingernails to peel didn't work. I actually had to find a YouTube video which recommended using the blade of a knife to dig into the red backing to peel away. This was dead on truth and worked. Once I got it started I would cut the excess red backing just enough were there was a tab to grab and peel for my next amount. The actual tape is pretty sticky and works well. A couple of panels I actually applied to the back of the foam and to the wall, and the tape holds up very well. For other pieces of foam I used tacky spray glue and put a backing on the foam, then applied this product to the backing and applied to wall. I found this to be a better technique and the product is holding the panels in place. So the adhesive works well! I have yet to try to remove from wall as I know that if I remove in the wrong manner it will damage the back of the foam on the pieces that does not have backing. This is why I gave 4 stars under this feature. This product has proved successful for the use I need and this amount has proved just enough for my needs. If I needed to reorder, I would use this again. Hope this helps!

This clear tape works great and comes in a variety of widths and thicknesses. Easy to use if you check out a YouTube video on it but a little tricky to start peeling the protective mylar coating if not used before. Tip. Use the tip of an exacto knife to pierce and start the peel and also cut the tape a little longer than needed so you have an end to touch with your fingers that you don't need to use as you do not want to touch it before applying. Also let the bond cure adequately before putting weight on the object being fastened. Very good water proof adhesive. Takes a little work to peel off surfaces with finger nail but comes off clean. Best product for strong, removable, waterproof, removable bonding i have found so far.

Seems to be genuine item. I have used this tape before and it seems to be same quality. Yes backing is hard to get off, it is tape. Works are advertised so far.....

It works as advertised. I had some dry erase markers that fell off of their magnetic inserts, and chip clips which also fell off of their magnetic inserts. The magnets are meant to keep everything on the fridge. I'd tried superglue to adhere the magnets back onto their respective plastic markers and clips, but that failed. I then tried this, and it's holding everything together well.

Worked well for mounting a cheap LED light strip on the back of my TV. The adhesive it came with was cheap and didn't hold long, but this stuff did the trick! I wish it was sold in a smaller amount, but at least I have plenty left for other uses. Pro tip: if you're using it to mount a light strip, adhere this to the back of the strip, but let it sit and cure for a few hours before attaching to the TV, it'll help it hold better.

I must have gotten a fake one. I used this to tape an acrylic panel in front of a display case onto acrylic hinges. So nothing that should have been stressful. It fell after a few weeks, and I had cleaned thr surfaces very well and left it to sit without stress for weeks before that. It fell off during a heatwave, but it was inside on an interior wall. I wish I knew how to make sure I could get the real stuff.

VHB is really great and I had used this (retail packaging) before, with no complaints - but this industrial pack is really something different 1) the rad protecting layer is nearly impossible to peel off and I struggle quite a number of minutes with alot of contact on the glue surface 2) when you finally do succeed, the double sided is slightly "worn / less sticky" by the contact of your fingers doing 1 3) the double sided VHB is very very nearly gel like and elastic - and it easily springs into one lump sticking with each other when you triy to unstick it from your fingers or scissors - causing you to have to throw and restart step 1,2,3 with a new piece. 4) after a few 1,2,3 you suceed and can use it - step 4 5) will contemplate try sucking the red piece off with my mouth but my mouth may get glued together. ./s

This tape seemed to be legit 3m tape and worked great. It was kinda like that gooey sticky stuff that some companies use to hold products into or in packaging as this stuff is very stretchy. But it does hold very well and definitely recommend. I used it to hold up some 3D wall panels on my wall when some Douglas adhesive foam tape failed.

Amazing Tape! Used for my no drill solar setup on the roof of my camper van. Minutes after applying the solar panels were not going anywhere! Make sure you apply tape in warmer weather. If it is cold outside, any tape will not adhere properly.
