Fantastic scooter!
It can be difficult to chose something you have never tried before. So I want to share my experience of this scooter with you. I purchased this scooter for personal use for work in a large warehouse to limit down on my 25 to 40 thousand steps per day due to both time preservation and aching feet. First of all, the box the scooter arrived in is very tough. The scooter was packaged extremely well and it showed that a lot of thought went into its protection. The seat will turn left or right a little bit if you don't tighten the adjustable clamp as hard as you can. Once tightened hard, it should stay put. The scooter seat is comfortable if you adjust the pitch of the seat to the proper position for your comfort. The scooter has great acceleration! Its handling is good. The scooter model that I purchased is the P7, 1200W, 30 mile range with 14 inch air blown tires on 3 spoke rims. I really like the get up and go it has! Its fun! This scooter has a throttle exactly like that of a motorcycle. There are no separate speed settings, no computer control board on it. It only states battery power remaining. So, all you have to do is twist the variable speed throttle and it will move as fast or slowly as you decide you want to go, up to the max 20 mph speed of course. It gets up to top speed fast! Its got very smooth acceleration. Very sturdy construction! Great kickstand! Outstanding brakes! Lights you can turn on or off with a button on the handlebar and a well built sturdy tough basket on the back. I really like it! Its a fantastic scooter that I use all day long, five days per week.

Falls apart
Quickly starts falling apart after typical wear and tear. 3 months old and it rattles and is difficult to ride because the joint at the fold wonโt stay tight.

Weight limit
Bought for Christmas for my 13 year old son, it says it holds up to 250 pounds but my son is 160 and the bike tire has popped twice cuz of his weight. $60 a fix, so I gotta save up and get him a better one now.

Great scooter and fast
This scooter is great and is so much fun! Boxed up perfectly, it was well packed, with all parts and tools to put it together. 95% of scooter already put together just had to put on a few items with no issues, booklet explained what to do. Suggest you watch Caroma videos on YouTube, they show how to put the scooter together and also some have tips on riding (very important for people who haven't ridden a scooter before or been on a bike in 40 years). It feels strong, with an excellent ride that is smooth. Great range, I've put on 18 miles so far, and got the top speed to 18-19 mph, I think I'll get 25-30 miles per charge of the battery.

Fast Shipping & Responsive Customer Service
After I made this purchase I had read other reviews of products not getting delivered and lack of customer service, which made me worried. But perhaps this company has listened to its customers as the shipping and support I received was excellent, 5-Star. The scooter was ordered on a Saturday, and by Monday FedEx had it and it was going through their system. Unfortunately it was then that we determined that the person we had bought this for had already tried one and didn't feel comfortable on it (lives in an area with steeper hills). Caroma customer service was contacted via the Amazon system for a product return, which they accepted. Through Amazon messaging Caroma customer service contacted me quickly, and when they determined that the scooter was still with FedEx they specified that they would attempt to turn the delivery around and, if they weren't successful in doing that, for me to reject the delivery. The next day in FedEx tracking I noticed that the scooter was at my local hub, but Caroma had been successful having it shipped back to them instead of delivered to me. The next day I got the notice from both Caroma and Amazon that my complete refund was being processed. While I can't speak specifically of the scooter (which had an excellent review on the Tom's Gadget Garage site), I can state that I am 100% satisfied with Caroma customer service. They were quick, efficient, and pleasant during this entire process (none of which was their fault).

Not a safe scooter very dangerous exiting!
While this is a great scooter. It has a real safety issue. There is no way to shut off key without getting off it. While getting off 2 different times trying to put up kickstand it took off because whole rubber grip is the throttle. My whole summer is now screwed! Last time dislocated shoulder and fractured humorous!

Happy with purchase
I bought this scooter for commuting, and so far I'm really enjoying it. I bought the 1200 W, and it's powerful enough for me, and the speed seems sufficient.
