This Tofu is Great
I made orange tofu stir fry with this and it was great! I did press the tofu with a tofu press (highly recommend this step), then marinated it for almost 24 hours. Next I cut it in small cubes, dredged it in a vegan egg mixture and next corn starch and air-fried it in my instant pot air fryer. It tasted great! Had the consistency of swordfish. In fact, for my non-vegan, fish-eating friends, I bet I could tell them they were eating swordfish and they wouldn’t know the difference. Skeptical? I get it. Try it! But make sure you press it and marinate it first!

Tastes Good But Almost Always Comes Broken
I like the taste of this tofu and I like that it’s affordable compared to some other brands. The only thing that bothers me is every time I get it, it either looks like someone took a bite out of it or there’s a chunk missing. And the chunks are never in the package with the tofu so it really does feel like someone just took a bite and then packaged it. It still tastes good and cooks well, but I hope they get better at giving the entire tofu block.

A lot better than it’s reputation
Trying this out as part of a new diet, it’s actually a lot more flavorful than I expected.

Spoiled tofu
Whole foods brand tofu has been my favorite for years. I the past couple months, I keep getting spoiled containers even though they are well within the sell by date. Not sure if there is something wrong with their manufacturing process or refrigeration, but it is super frustrating. I will definitely be moving on to a different brand.
