I gave the book 5 stars because I doted it. Recipes with mundane ingredients! The cull of recipes is excellent. The dishes are rudimentally comfort foods but without all the corpulence. Alimental information and accommodating sizes included in each recipe.Mini Instant Pot Cookbook is an astonishing book.. every one can facilely follow the tips and steps on how to utilize this Mini Instant pot because of this book. The recipes are quite simple yet ambrosial and facile . Ordinant dictations in cooking are facile to follow. I dote it!

There are two other possible reasons, and they both have to do with the food in the pot. If you don't have that minimum1/2 cup of Liquid, the IP won't pressurize. If you used a thickener in the recipe like cornstarch or flour.

This instant pot recipe book is helpful in the way that it has recipes which are smaller sized specifically for use in the smaller instant pot. Breakfast, pasta, seafood, veggies and much more. Although not illustrated, it is neatly written and well formatted.

Some of the recipes are okay, but not what you really need if you're just starting out. I'll stick with my Rootitoot cookbooks.

The jury is out on this cookbook. I read thru several recipes when I first received it and found recipes lacking detailed instructions. Ex. 1 recipe called for 1 lb. Beef, never saying what kind/cut and never stated how to cut up before cooking. Another recipe stated for 2 people but called for only2 chicken drumsticks in the recipe, I'm sorry but that's not what I call serving 2. And a few recipes listed ingredients but never mentioned them in the cooking instructions.Today I made the cabbage soup recipe and had to transfer all the ingredients to a larger pot because it was too much for my lux mini. It did taste good, though.
