This product is not meant for African American hair

This product is great for a person like me who washes hair at night. When I had tried to use other hair straightener in the morning, I had always afraid I might damage my already damaged hair. This product is amazing in that sense. I do not have to worry about applying heat to my dry hair since it provides the moistures. I have to use the little bottle to fill the water and I can straighten my hair effectively. I had been using the same hair straightener before this for the past 10 years without realizing the technology has improved dramatically; It does make my hair straight. I have to say I am a little hesitant to use it when travel just because I have to carry a special water bottle and I am afraid I might loose it. But overall, I really like it.

Leaves your hair very frizzy. I have natural curly hair. I looked like an untamed lion. It doesn’t get hot enough, I was able to touch it with burning myself. I’m very displeased with this product.

Sent back didn’t work hardly

Well built and designed except it didn't do the job. I washed and blow dried my daughters hair whom is African American and after doing her entire head it looked exactly the same. I must say yes it did hydrate her hair with steam but sadly did not straighten her hair any more than the blow dryer. Just a "meh" product.
