I bought this for a Dreame L40 Ultra. There are two long haired humans and two long haired cats in the house, and other vacuums get quite a lot of hair caught. My robot vac has cleaned the whole house six times now, and there's zero hair on the brush.

I _LOVE_ this brush roll for my Dreeme Bot! I have a household with two cats one dog and two women who both have long hair. Needless to say I have been going insane trying to keep the brush roll from tangling. Now this is the first time after replacing the brush roll I don't have damage visible on the brush due to hair. Sadly my robot vacuum tried to eat a power cord today but did no damage to the cord or vacuum other than stopping the vacuum from being able to continue without human interaction. I have had one other time that the vacuum wrapped a USB cord around the brush roll which did no damage to either the cord or vacuum that I was able to see. As far as I can tell having the built in cutter means I no longer have to disassemble the vacuum weekly for brush cleaning. As an after market product I _STRONGLY_ suggest that this product is for households with pets, long haired people, or anyone who has had issues with lifespan of their brush roll in a Dreeme Bot!

Does a great job vacuuming and substantially limits the accumulation of hair but it's very loud compared to the original soft brush. I bought it mostly for the durability of materials compared with the original style of brush, which I had to replace once a month or so.

I love the pickup from this replacement, but it starts giving a “brush entangled” error after about the second use. The brush isn’t entangled, but it’s not going to be satisfied until you remove the roller, clean out the brush mounting space, and refit the roller. Annoying.

A few months of use and no issues with this, no hair buildup. The previous brush (non cutting) I had was clogged after a week of use and needed to be removed and have all the hair cut off.

If there are any long haired people or animals, this is a must to have in your robot. On day 1 of using my robot, it was getting tangled with long hair. After installing this, there were no more tangled hairs in the roller.

Update - vendor contacted me as a result of my review and asked for more information which I provided. The next day they said they would pass the information on to their R&D people and would issue a refund for the purchase and I could keep the brush. Very impressed with their responsiveness and how they stand behind their product. Very disappointed in its performance. I will agree that it has less tangling than the original roller brush but it is by no means tangled hair free. In fact, it faulted the machine saying the roller was stuck...it wasn't stuck on anything but had hair clogging the rollers. Will be going back to the original roller which got full of hair but didn't cause the machine to fault due to the roller being stuck.

Works great for my vacuum. I had high hopes for the hair-cutting blade and thought it was genius, but it didn't work as expected - some hairs were stuck to the roller. Overall, not a bad product, just needs some improvements.
