These are cheap and they work
For the sake of argument I will be comparing these to energizer batteries, since that is the other set of batteries I've used in the past with similar products. These are cheap (much cheaper if you buy in bulk when there's no sale on the major brands). For me, my family goes through batteries faster than office party goes through a birthday cake! Especially with COVID, auto trashcans are being opened more often, remotes are getting more daily use, camping adventures lead to a need for lighting, etc. These batteries work great but their lifespan is definitely less than that of the energizer I used to use. But the fact that they are much cheaper on average kind of makes up for that difference. my recommendation would be, get these if you need batteries or don't run through them on a monthly (multi-month) basis. If there's a sale going on that makes the name brand...get those as they'll likely last longer.

Good quality
I primarily buy these in this quantity for use in hunting game cameras. I have quite a few cameras so it makes sense to buy quite a few batteries. The first time I used them I was honestly amazed at how long they lasted. I’m talking months of use in cold weather and hundreds of pictures or videos. This is third year that I’ve bought them and they seem to work very well for me. And the price is right.

Excellent long lasting batteries
These are very good quality batteries. I’ve used a major drug store chain batteries for years and they have always worked well with a long life. I bought another manufacturers on Prime that lasted half the time. I decided to try these and I’m not disappointed. I use AA’s for my game cameras that are in temperatures from below freezing to the 90s in direct sun. These Rayovacs have performed well with no short term power loss. There is a steady slow drain at an acceptable pace as they should be as the cameras take hundreds a pictures a week. These are excellent quality batteries at a terrific price.

Looks good except....... still 5 stars
Complaints first: 1. Just too loose, you can see on the picture it’s just loosely put inside so once you started using one, the rest will be very loosy 2. 10 year shelf should meant 2030 if I didn’t have a basic math problem, but all expire on 2029 lol, so Amazon please make sure you say between 8 and 10 years Well after complaining, what can be wrong with AA batteries???? We all using them since we were born, and I bet everyone on earth nowadays over age of 10 would have touched one AA battery and input it into any kind of device, so not a damn complaint with it! Good price!

At Best it is Poorly Packaged
These batteries arrived in two blister packs bound together with plastic wrap. When I cut the plastic wrap batteries came spilling out. One of the blister packs was completely seperated. The other was open on one end. I tested several batteries with my battery tester and all tested had a charge. We will see how they hold up in actual use, but I will be looking elsewhere for my battery needs in the future. UPDATE: In all fairness the batteries are performing well, so I upgraded my rating. Still don't like how I received them. The cardboard box they show in the photo provides a nice way to store them.

THESE DESTROYED EVERYTHING!
Unfortunately I bought a bunch of these brand batteries in bulk and EVERY single solitary thing I put them has been completely destroyed! To this day I'm opening up remotes, electronic candles, drones etc. And without fail every one of these batteries has completely spilled all its contents inside all my equipment I am so angry I can't even see straight! Most of them came apart within months of installing them in the equipment they did not have to sit around for years for the batteries to fail. I repeat do not buy these batteries for any application whatsoever; you have been warned. I had to just replace almost $5,000 worth of electrical blinds due to these acid bombs they're trying to sell as batteries!

Highest quality batteries available in America
With the exception of Rayovac batteries, every other battery sold in the U.S. is either made in China and shipped across salty waters or made from parts that were made in China and shipped across salty waters for assembly in the U.S. Rayovac's are the only batteries sold in the U.S. using parts, components and assembly in and from U.S. plants. And, since no component of a Rayovac battery is ever exposed to salt water, they can, and do, come with ten year warranties. For example, dispite how cute the Eveready bunny may be, it's home use batteries (Sizes: D, C, A, AA, AAA AAAA) only come with three year warranties. And, that assumes you purchased them on the day they were manufactured. If you know the reality of how and where batteries are made, you'd never buy any brand of battery except Rayovac. michaelpaul50

Rayovac is now my new battery of choice.
I have been a life-long user of Energizer & Duracell batteries in my items(CD-walkman, remote controls, etc). The last 15-20 years, exclusively Energizer because they tended to be a little cheaper than Duracell. I even own one of those Energizer "Stop the Bunny Please" 🐇w/battery stuffed animals. The last few years Energizer slowly started to rise in price every time I needed some. So I did my research on other batteries, some I was familiar with like Rayovac. I loved the price and the reviews so I ordered and started the battery test before the Rayovac batteries arrived by putting my last two Energizer batteries in my TV remote control(wrote down date & time)to determine longevity. Then when the Energizer batteries were dead, I did the same with Rayovac batteries. The RESULTS! Energizer lasted 13 days(I've had them for two years but shelf life says 2028). Rayovac lasted almost (7) weeks. Rayovac outlasted Energizer by more than a month. I was SHOCKED! Energizer AA batteries lowest bulk pack price is .61 cents per battery and Rayovac is only .27 cents per battery. That's $2.44/4pk for Energizer opposed to $1.08/4pk for Rayovac which is how I use to buy my batteries before I started buying batteries in bulk. I'm shocked yet excited because I just became a Rayovac customer. Sorry Energizer.

LET ME START BY SAYING I HAVE BEEN A DURACELL BATTERY USER FOR YEARS! MOST RECENTLY I HAVE TRIED COSTCO’S KIRKLAND & AMAZON BASICS. THE DURACELLS ARE A LITTLE BETTER THAN COSTCO’S & AMAZON’S, BUT QUITE A BIT MORE EXPENSIVE! I USE A LOT OF ALL THE DIFFERENT SIZES OF BATTERIES IN MY MECHANICAL BATTERY OPERATED TIN TOYS, 1950’s & 1960’s VINTAGE THAT HAVE BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OF! & NOW VERY VALUABLE TO COLLECTORS LIKE ME. ALSO 70’s/80’s/90’s/2000’s/2010’s & 2020’s MORE MODERN, BUT STILL BATTERY OPERATED TOYS! MY BIG BEEF IS THAT ALL THE PREVIOUS BRANDS MENTIONED HAVE CORRODED & LEAKED ACID WHICH IS THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN TO THE TOYS OR ANY OTHER DEVICE THAT YOU PUT THESE POORLY MADE BATTERIES INTO! (IT ESSENTIALLY DESTROYS WHATEVER YOU PUT THEM INTO!!!). NOW ENTER RAYOVAC! HIGH ENERGY! AFTER READING A LOT OF AMAZON REVIEWS! I DECIDED TO BUY THESE 72-AA ONES TO GIVE THEM A TRY. (MADE IN THE USA!). ACCORDING TO A LOT OF PEOPLE & RAYOVAC ADVERTISING THESE BATTERIES DO-NOT & WILL NOT CORRODE & LEAK! IF THAT IS TRUE I WILL BE BUYING A LOT MORE IN ALL SIZES AAA/AA/C/D/& 9-VOLTS!. EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE NOT THE CHEAPEST ONES OUT-THERE! THESE 72-AA ONES CAME IN A STRONG PLAIN THICK CARDBOARD BOX! (GREAT PACKAGING RAYOVAC-KEEP IT UP! I WILL UPDATE THIS REVIEW AFTER I HAVE USED THESE RAYOVAC’S AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME! *UPDATE-IT HAS BEEN APPROX 7-MONTHS SINCE I SWITCHED TO RAYOVAC’S. I RECENTLY DID MY OWN TEST WITH BATTERY OPERATED SNOW GLOBES. I PUT DURACELL’S IN FIRST & RECORDED THE DAY & TIME! WHEN THE SNOW GLOBE STOPPED OPERATING, AGAIN I RECORDED THE DAY & TIME. I THEN INSTALLED THE RAYOVACS & SAME PROCEDURE RECORDED INSTALLATION DATE & DATE THEY STOPPED WORKING! HAPPY TO REPORT THE RAYOVAC’S OUTPERFORMED THE DURACELL’S BY 1-DAY & 1-HOUR!!! SO IT’S TRUE MY TEST PROVED TO ME THAT RAYOVAC’S OUTLAST DURACELL’S! (PLUS THE NO-CORROSION FEATURE MAKE THEM EVEN BETTER!!!).

Convenient pack size to take care of all the various gadgets! RAYOVAC also great for the "anti-leak" functionality so if you forget batteries in your Xmas decoration, no bad surprise the next season finding goop all over!

These perform just as good, if not better, as other leading branded batteries. The only difference is that these are more cost effective, so you save a bit without sacrificing performance or quality. Highly recommended.
