Company does not stand behind its products
I bought the loctote in December, and after using it all of three or four times, the material unravelled where the opening/rope is.. I emailed them and they told me that it was a result of "Serious or intentional abuse" after looking at the picture. If you look at the bag, you can tell that it has not been abused, its clean and in near new condition.A company that stood by its product would not manufacture an excuse to refuse to replace it, or even look at it in person. I've had flimsy canvas bags like this one and none of them had this problem. It is a manufacturing/materials defect, from what I can tell.Buyer beware.

This isn't safe or a great design. Don't have the experience we did.
Be VERY careful when attaching this bag. If you turn the top back to work it through a fence etc and happen to move the dials, while holding the entire lock in your hand, before closing it will change the combination of the lock from what you originally set. You won't know you did it either except it won't open for you when you come back. Yes it happened so I know someone else can make this same mistake. The only thing that saved us in a foreign country with our passports inside is that the lock is not very strong so a couple hard yanks with a towel through the loop popped it right open. I'm sure this is common knowledge to many but it wasn't to me. I was grateful someone around had not the greatest past...It seemed like a great way to secure valuables while swimming but the ease at which you can change the combo is unsettling and the durably of the lock since we broke in that easy isn't really very secure - which for us turned out to be a REALLY good thing!

Better than Apple Care
Wow. I got my loctote bag a few days ago and the sheer quality of the item compelled me to leave a review, but I’ll get to the bag itself in a moment. First I want to address the customer service, which absolutely floored me. I reached out to the company via email because at the time they only had the Coalition bag on Amazon, and being a poor student (pursuing a law degree) I needed to use gift cards to afford it. The day I sent my email I received a response from a very nice guy named Christopher, and after an exchange of emails he helped me purchase a bag without any hiccups. Christopher was absolutely phenomenal, even getting in touch with me after my purchase to ensure I was not just satisfied but happy with my new backpack. Now to the bag. The reason I am poor (well, one of them, ahem *ridiculous tuition*) is because my last backpack, with my MacBook Pro, iPad and several expensive legal textbooks was stolen after I left it in a classroom while I went to the restroom. The class let out early and some $&*@$ took the whole bag, even though I had a travel lock on the zippers(I know, pitiful). After doing some research online I found the loctote industrial bag company, and decided to make the investment. 10000/10 best purchase ever. It’s a lot roomier than I expected, big enough to fit my replacement 13” laptop(probably not enough room for a 15” though), plus 2 8”x10” textbooks that are each a couple inches thick, with enough room left for my lunch and whatever else I need that day. The interior pockets are super convenient for pens, earbuds, chargers whatever you need. I like the RFID blocking feature, it’s nice to have the extra peace of mind so I toss my wallet in there when I take the bus or train. The actual material of the bag is probably my favorite part, it just feels supple and durable. It’s thick stuff, whatever it is, and it gives the bag a nice heft, which I was a little worried about at first, but after wearing it I found that the rope straps are plenty wide so it doesn’t cut into your shoulder, even when you load it up. Embarrassingly, I also found that the thickness adds padding to whatever is inside. I say embarrassingly because I was bombing a hill on my skateboard, late to class, and ate s*** on my back. Not only was the bag fine (not a loose thread) but my laptop, which, to be fair, was in a lightly padded case, was totally fine after being used as a sled for 20ft for my 180 pounds. I haven’t had anyone try to break into the bag, but if that doesn’t speak to it’s quality I don’t know what will. The only thing I changed is the lock, it seems like it would do the job but I wanted a black one because it matches better and plus it’s more low key. I’m not exactly trying to advertise that I have a locking bag, which presumably would have something expensive in it.At the end of the day this thing is worth it just for the sense of security it gives you. My girlfriend wants one because she likes that it’s Bear Proof “just in case” she gets attacked by one on a well populated campus, she’ll be mauled but her bag will be fine. Google it, they got it certified somehow. When I read reviews of anything online I’m always skeptical. People BS these all the time, but for what it’s worth this is the only company I’ll buy a bag from again. I love it, I love it, I love it. I already have my eye on one of their “sport” ones to take to the gym, so I don’t have to constantly empty it and refill it. Plus it comes in a really cool retro denim color;)

Loctote Flak Sack II: Significant Improvements Made
Upon my first initial impression of unboxing this tote was the higher weight and quality of it compared to the Flack Sack I. Apart from that, it is heavier than the first generation Flak Sack I. As far as weight goes, it weighs in at 2 pounds with the lock included, 1.7 pounds without the lock; the bag itself made from a blend of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene [UHMWPE] along with the core of the cord that is also cover in a soft nylon braided outer sheath, interwoven with a highly-reflective material for safe night time visibility. When compared to the first generation Flak Sack I in terms of cut resistance, the Flak Sack I had a cut resistance of A5 while this newer Flak Sack II has a cut resistance of A9, which is the highest cut resistance grade according to the American National Standards Institute [ANSI] on a scale of A1 to A9. Furthermore, for this second-generation Flak Sack II, these are the improvements that have been made over the first-generation Flak Sack I:• Double Steel reinforced UHMWPE lock strap• Grey interior lining & 2 additional pockets• Reinforce all seams with UHMWPE binding to increase cut resistance• Replace all stitching with UHMWPE thread• Enlarge the internal RFID protective pocket• Change lock strap material to UHMWPE for increased durability, strength, and cut resistance• Cut resistant ropes & grommet-less rope attachment• Easy cinch top closure• Replace brass lock strap grommets with heavy duty stainless steel rolled rim grommets and spur washers for added strength• Replace the nylon multi-loop with a UHMWPE loop• Replace the two-piece multi-loop rivet with a hand-set solid brass rivet and burrOverall, this is the most heavy-duty tote you are going to find on the market, everything from the sheer weight of it to the quality and materials used, makes it the best thus far.

Amazing product as always loctote and thanks for the upgrades!
This review is for people with flak sack 1 as I had the first one before. This is a significant upgrade and 100% worth it. The locking strap is probably the biggest upgrade that matters it is very noticeably stronger material and has 2 wires instead of 1. 2nd thing is the ropes that go over your shoulders is now cut resistant as where before it was not. Also a couple more pouches inside always help and the main inside pouch is bigger. The only thing I would say anything bad about it is that the rfid pouch seems to be lined with a loud plastic (must be for weather proofing). But this is definitely still and always will be 5 star product. Loctote is the best :D anyone who says otherwise is a Karen

World’s Most Unlockable Theft Resistant Slash-Proof Portable Safe that doesn’t lock
What is the use of having The World’s Toughest Theft-Resistant Drawstring Backpack | Slash-Proof | Lockable | Portable Safe when the lock seizes in the open position and won’t lock to the bag? Good thing it didn’t lock in the closed position, I would have had to call The Bad Guys to come and break into the bag to retrieve my posessions. Were supposed to send me a replacement lock Dec 7. Hasn’t arrived. It’s Jan 18. The year is now 2019.

Works well.
Works great, just as it is supposed to. The bag is heavy, but what did you expect? I’m glad it’s heavy; that means it’s not sh*t. It also may he difficult for women with small and weaker hands to open. My girlfriend has troubles opening it, but I’m sure it’ll loosen up. The people with strong hands shouldn’t have an issue at all.

Great, sturdy bag
I use this daily for back and forth between work and home, and it also comes with me on vacation. It looks good and is built well. Having the added peace of mind given its security features is a nice addition.

( locked with unknown digits) The lock is useless, it took me over an hour to guess ...
When I opened the package within half an hour, the lock failed on me. ( locked with unknown digits) The lock is useless, it took me over an hour to guess out the random digits and unlock it again.
