Brümate knows what they’re doing. I purchased this one, the Resa, and two other cups from this brand. I can honestly say ANY of their cups are genuinely worth every penny. For the Resa: After intentionally pushing my bottle over several times, the locking mechanism is in fact 100% leak proof. You just have to be conscientious and remember to turn it to lock and not leave it on open! LoL. Every part of the bottle (the metal straw, the hard plastic top with special locking system, the thick strap and the smooth outer skin) is made of high quality parts and feels sturdy yet still looks nice. It holds a lot of water (35 oz capacity) and drinks stay cold for a long time. I tend to prefer a side handle for my thermos, but the strap is so well made and comfortable that it’s actually better to use, less bulky than a handle. It comes in various colors and sizes to choose from, which is nice. Everyone’s preferences are different. That said, I would definitely recommend this over other leading brands, which leak despite their cost. Price is good. Product is great!

Love my Brumate Resa 40 ounce cup. Keeps drinks cold all day. It is easy to clean. You can lock the straw to prevent spills. The magnetic top and the metal straws are quickly removed for easy, complete, and detailed cleaning. The metal straw is locked in so it doesn’t pop off with ice or regular use. It fits in the vehicle cup holders easily. So many colors to choose from!!! Have dropped it and it is still going strong.

I bought two of these, one for myself in the larger size and one for my son in the middle size. They are sleek, the colors are beautiful, and they ultimately have all the features I’ve been searching for in a water bottle. Locking mechanism, easy to take apart and clean in the dishwasher, super wide mouth for ice with a narrow bottom to fit in cup holders, and a silicon sleeve that fits perfectly and reduces the bulky feel of the whole thing. The magnetic top is an amazing touch and I bought one of those small magnetic straw toppers, which I also love. And absolutely 100% leakproof! Not only that, but they must have some magical antibacterial properties or something because I had lost mine underneath a car seat for over 6 months. I live in tropical humid weather and when I found it I had expected some egregious concoction of mold and mildew and was deathly afraid of opening it 🤢. Nope! Not even a hint of mold, not even an odor. I put all the parts in the dishwasher and it came out like new! Except the silicon parts did need to be physically cleaned with a soft sponge and some soap to get all the dirt off. Even after all that, you’d seriously never know it wasn’t brand new. Absolutely delighted, since it’s such an expensive water bottle. This is definitely a forever kind of tumbler and I’d buy again for friends and family members, or for myself if I ever (permanently) lost mine. This is far from my first brumate, but my first of the Resa. I typically use the 40oz era for water but I wanted something a little smaller for other drinks. I’d been eyeing the Eclipse Resa for awhile and I’m so glad I finally pulled the trigger. The colorway definitely caught my eye first, and it doesn’t disappoint in person. Like all my previous brumates, it’s beautifully and thoughtfully designed. The built in boot adds stability and protection to the bottle. I love that it’s built in rather than looking like an accessory. Like the Era, the bottle is completely leakproof (I’ve used it even as a drink shaker lol) and has kept my ice cold all day, even in hot FL weather. I do think I prefer the swing handle to the Era handles. I love how it feels in my hand, it’s easier to grab and I can even use a carabiner to clip it to a bag. If it came in a 40oz, I’d probably replace it with my Era water cup lol. Still, the 35oz is a great size without having to refill often but it is on the heavy side. I may get another 25oz for another option.

This cup checks all of the boxes when it comes to my ideal reusable cup! I love the color, the soft handle, the leakproof option, the silicone cover on the bottom half & I also love that the straw is metal and easy to clean! My first cup was awful, each sip had so many air bubbles it was like drinking the last sip of water left in a cup. This was extremely frustrating as I treated myself to this cup to bring to the hospital with me to stay hydrated while delivering my baby, so the few days I spent there, this cup was terrible when I needed water for meds and to stay hydrated throughout my delivery. I reached out to Brumate directly & followed their troubleshooting checklist which did not fix the problem whatsoever. I sent them pictures (by request) and they assured me they would send me a replacement unit, however once I sent my order info, they advised me to return on Amazon since I was within the 30 day window. I was a bit weary because I wasn't sure if I actually had a faulty cup or if this was the norm and for the price tag, I expected better. However, it was surprisingly easy to fix this issue with amazon. I was able to select an option to receive a replacement and return the faulty cup within 30 days which I appreciate. I now have packaging to return my initial cup to UPS without having to worry about figuring that out. Very pleased with Amazon on the return operation. So happy to share that the new cup sips smoothly and is 100x better than the faulty cup I received at first. I am super satisfied with this purchase and tossed my dented Owala in the trash. The magnetic lid is awesome too when paired with the straw covers. This is the perfect cup to me & I would recommend to anyone. Just be weary if you receive a cup that seems faulty, it should not be that way and there's simple ways to fix the issue.

Brumates are the best water bottle -hands down. This produces does not leak, keep drinks cold all day with ice; fits nicely in a standard cup holder, is easy to carry and hold with the handle; and has held up to many drops and falls and is very durable. The bottom has a rubber-like texture that makes it stay put on a table and not slide around. The straw is silicone and easy to wash and safe for even toddlers (although I wouldn't recommend this particular size for toddlers since it can be heavy filled with water). With regular cleanings, I have not found any mold on any parts. It is easy to take completely apart to wash every area. 100% recommend.

There's vodo tech going on here. These cups keep ice and water colder than literally anything I've ever tried. The lid is very tight and doesn't leak, and the straw stays nice and flexible. Amazing product!!

My favorite tumbler!! I love this tumbler so much. It’s cute and convenient. It locks away liquid, making it leak resistant (as long as your lid is tight)!! The interior of this tumbler is made to keep liquids cool for up to 2 days and hot for at least 8 hours. The silicone bottom protects the finish and the handle is perfect for carrying anywhere. The tumbler sits on your table or in a cup holder of your car or anywhere. The design ensures that your liquid will stay safe. I love this cup, my one criticism is the texture of the top straw. The silicone style is not for everyone. BrüMate does tip over more than other cups, but the design holds liquids in pretty securely.

Der Becher ist wirklich hochwertig verarbeitet und liegt angenehm in der Hand. Er hält Getränke lange warm bzw. kalt und überzeugt durch sein modernes Design. Ein kleiner Minuspunkt: Durch die Öffnungen im Boden bleibt nach dem Spülen in der Maschine immer etwas Nässe zurück. Ansonsten ein super Produkt, das ich definitiv weiterempfehlen kann!
