Great bike with excellent batteries that can be used in my other tools!
I've had tons of fun on this thing. I weigh around 200 lbs and it can go up hills, and rough yard areas, etc. and get me around the property. Being over 40 now, I primarily use it to run around and grab a tool from the shed and back over to whatever project im working, on, go grab the mail, etc. but some days it is just fun to go ride. I did some rough testing and I'd say you'll get about 45 minutes (at my weight anyway) per battery charge with the two 7.5 amp hour batteries. Which I think is still great and usually about the time I need to take a break. It has pretty decent shocks on it, I like the bulky type tire because it works perfect for my rough yard (new house with yard still work in progress) and its just super easy to hop on, turn the key, push the ready button and take off. Balance is the same as riding any other bike and best of all, so is the noise level which is zero lol. I love that probably the most, I can enjoy the woods, trails, etc even more because you can talk to each other while riding easily, stop and talk without powering off, just tons of benefits to having this little bike. Have had zero issue with it since I bought it about 6-7 months ago and its easy to maintain it looks like, basically just have to dust it a bit every now and then and spray the mud off and its good to go. The extra battery compartment in the middle by the way is super nice because you can actually get that FULL 45 minutes of riding in because you can go until your main two batteries die and then throw a spare one in there to get you back to the house. Super happy I got this, its well made and worth the money and if you have other EGO tools then the batteries that come with it at a discount are excellent to have as well.

Silent Zippy Fun for Teenagers and Adults
This is a one year review. I ordered this for my teenager to get him to want to do more things outside. When I was a kid I had fourwheelers. I liked the idea that this was silent, easy to recharge and Dad could ride it too. Pros: -It zips! As someone who is 6' 4" I can ride it and it goes fast enough on our couple acre property and neighborhood. -Dead silent. No worries about annoying neighbors. -My son can recharge batteries and no buying gas. Also, it works with my other ego yard equipment. Batteries easily get him several rides between charges. They recharge pretty quick too. Have not felt like it's a limiting factor. -Very well built. Brakes are legit hydraulic brakes that can stop it immediately. Everything is solid on it. Zero concerns about its longevity. - It has a speed limit switch under the seat. It was great to limit the speed until my son got experienced. I made him get 200 miles under his belt before we would consider turning it off. The handlebar also had a switch for 3 speed settings too. He tends to keep it on lowest or middle. The top setting easily hits 27 mph in our flat yard. Cons: -The screen is and LED but not backlight well. Hard to see in the daylight. That said it doesn't really matter you can still see everything just not as easy. Not a big deal. - The tires are great for gravel and grassy yards. They aren't the best if the ground is muddy or wet grass. Easy to lose traction and slip in those conditions. That said in those settings probably shouldn't be out anyway. No issues with it and it's been heavily used over last year.

Unbelievably super build quality and great performance. Has just a few minor deficiencies.
The EGO minibike far exceeded my expectations for build quality. The paint work is excellent. Body panel fit and finish are excellent. Awesome styling. Well equipped, with brake and tail lights, high and low beam headlight with running light. There are even mounts on the brake master cylinders to mount motorcycle mirrors, which I did add. Power delivery is smooth and linear. The bike was delivered with the headlight aimed too low, but it was adjustable using the same worm gear mechanism as โrealโ motorcycles. It topped out near 28 mph, but after softening the tires and adding mirrors, it seems to max out more around 26 mph. Speaking of tires, the manual recommends running at maximum tire spec pressure, which for the 56 load index would support 494 pounds per tire (way too much). The ride is just too stiff and harsh on the road, and horrible on a trail, so I lowered the tires to 25 psi, then to 22 psi, which improved the ride quality without affecting handling. The provided knobby tires are bumpy at low speed and noisy at high speed, so I have obtained some Kenda street tires to swap on over the winter. The only other negative is that, while the dash display gives great information, it is too dim to read in sunlight. I may need to tilt the display to a steeper angle and add a sunlight blocking hood. Iโm an experienced rider, riding motorcycles ranging from dual sports to 900 pound touring, to a Zero all-electric model. Overall, this MB1000 is a well built, fun little toy. I mark it as 5 stars but it probably rates 4.5.

More fun than it has any business being!
This bike is more fun than it has any business being! First thing I noticed was the absolutely amazing build quality. Weโve collected and ridden mini bikes for many years and this is in a league of its own! Iโm 39yrs old and 210lbs and when I sat down on this thing, I hear my back say โthank youโ. Suspension is perfect for my weight and the seat is soft! The brakes feel like the brakes on my full size dirt bike. Sure, the power isnโt going to blow you away, it wasnโt designed to. This is the perfect machine to cruise around the neighborhood or property and explore. I already had 6 12Ah batteries from my Ego Zero turn so I opted for this โtool onlyโ version. If youโre on the fence and you happen to already have a few EGO batteries laying around, stop thinking and just buy it. Youโll be happy. If you donโt have batteries already, buy the version that comes with batteries because youโll get a charger and the correct batteries off the bat. If you try to use the smaller batteries (less than 7.5ah), youโre going to be frustrated with the power and range. Iโve noticed some people have left negative reviews and theyโre pretty ridiculous. Those reviews do not reflect the product and shouldnโt be considered in your purchase decision. Itโs likely not street legal in your area. It wasnโt designed to be. Changing the rear tire is no more difficult than any other motorcycle this size. Batteries are expensive, for sure. Theyโre expensive everywhere. But youโll not get batteries as high quality as EGO with other Chinese bikes and scooters. Trust me, Iโve beat these EGO batteries to death and they just keep going! The EGO batteries are worth every penny, especially if you have multiple tools. So, stop thinking and start buying! You wonโt regret it.

Expensive but high quality (and FUN!)
Fun minibike but very expensive for what it is. It arrived in a very sturdy steel frame and cardboard box. Love the fact that I can use all the batteries I already own in this bike. Gives me a good way to run the batteries down to storage level when necessary. Would be nice if the brakes and suspension were a little better, but the overall build quality is superb. Only real complaint is the READY switch to enable the motors is a little flaky at times. I'm sure it's a safety/liability issue but I'd much rather have it just enabled when the key is in the ON position.

Fun
Fun little bike. I haven't turned sport mode on yet. opted to get the bike sans batteries and upgraded to 2 12.5 AH batteries at a very small cost increase. packaging was good and very minimal build

Nice bike, not good on any sort of hill.
I bought the version without batteries as I already have six 10Ah batteries from a zero turn mower purchase. Three stars because it has very little torque. It struggles up hills. In rough grass, it often won't go more than walking speed up a slight incline. From a dead stop on a steeper incline, it needs a push. Most electric vehicles are known for their low end torque. Not this one. I do approach the max suggested weight for the bike. I'm sure it would do better with a pre-teen or similarly light person. Positives: The top speed really is 28mph in sport mode (although you may need a slight decline to see this). Warning: you need to read the manual as sport mode is disabled by default. You have to remove the seat to access a hidden switch. The headlight is nice Reverse gear is nice Assembly was easy - just bolt on the instrument cluster and the handle bars (then remove the seat to enable sport mode). Disassembling the shipping frame took more time than assembling the bike. I approve of the way it is packaged for shipping.

Worth the $$
Very well made and shipped in a metal cage that protects everything. Easy to assemble with good instructions. I have a EGO lawn mower that came with 4 batteries but has capacity for 6. The bike has 2 of the same batteries so prolongs use time. Bike has headlights, (hi and low beam) taillights and brake light and easy to access controls. Also backs up slowly. Ride is nice, smooth and comfortable. Recommend
