Much better than the clear odourless fluid that they changed from the original. Nothing comes anywhere near the original black strong coal tar fluid that I had used for decades. I’ve bought so many different other brands but they’ve been totally ineffective. Now that the better weather is coming, my search for another disinfectant started and came across Jeyes again. Reading that it was the classic formula I thought it was worth another try. It comes in the old style tin, which was a good start, it was black again and had a smell. Not quite the original smell, but a nice clean one all the same. If it was completely the original, it would be 5 stars but I give it a good 4. It’s not the same strong clean smell that I love but it does smell clean and disinfected. Not the true original but a close contender.

This is an old classic , I used to clean my green house with a dilution of it, now I have several external drains which are beginning to smell in the hot weather, I plan to suck the standing water out with a Wetvac clean the drains out refill with fresh water and dose with Jeys Fluid

Perfect. You can't beat the classic original Jeyes Fluid for cleaning outdoor bins. Just what I was looking floor. Lovely clean smell (reminds me of coal tar). Cleans and disinfects really well.
