Yamaha Fg 800 Folk Acoustic Guitar, Natural - Rosewood

Just an excellent first guitar. Go for it. If strings seem used replace the strings. Sometimes the guitar may be used so, return it in that case. But in most cases its gonna be a great product. Have fun! Action is also good enough. Weight is moderate. And product is durable and rust resistant and size is also perfect.

I had a laminated spruce top guitar for about 10 years and still do. I used to play it about 10 hours on a weekly basis. That guitar had open up and became quite resonant. When I unpacked my FG 800, I wasn't expecting much because the guitar is brand new and hasn't been played at all and I had a reference sound to compare it to . But to my surprise, I was taken aback when I hit the strings on FG800. It sounds beautiful. Keep in mind that this guitar has never been played before so this guitar is only going to get better the more I play it. Also keep in mind if you are buying it from a store and you played it and didn't like it's sound, it might be your perception. Please ask other person to play it and feel as a listener. It sounds great and competes way above it's price point. I made the right choice. Thank you Yamaha for a beautiful instrument.

Delivered before time, The condition was almost perfect with some minor scratches... Sounds so good... Little bit heavy and broad... Came with a bag and belt with some picks

Amazing guitar and amazing delivery. I was looking to buy a good guitar under 20k. Got a good deal from maa durga enterprises seller. Received the product nicely packed and safe, within stipulated time... everything as listed... For the guitar fg800 from yamaha is one of the best solid sitka spruce top guitar, in this price range. However action on guitar, out of the box is little on a higher side but very much playable. Will need a set up job but this is expected for any new guitar. Tone is fantastic and sustain is lovely. Projects sound really well... I am loving it 😍

One of the best guitar you can buy in this price range it has a very warm sound. the gauges is around .12. It is a solid spruce top , not vinyl top ..body is excellent , sturdy.. and the sound is best .. using over 2 years

It came in time and in good condition

I started playing guitar in 1958. As a high school student I only had $13, so I bought a Japanese guitar. In a year it began to fold up into a circle! Those were the days when, "made in Japan" was a bad thing. What I learned from that experience was that, when it comes to musical instruments you don't want to buy the cheapest thing available; it needs to be of substantial quality or it will discourage you. I ended up with a nice couple of Martin guitars along the way, but was dismayed by putting n nicks and scratches in them during performances or camping trips. I ended up looking for a beater and found a Yamaha similar to this one. With decent strings medium or light gauge, this guitar can hold its head up in any group. I bought this for my 12-year-old grandson who was showing proficiency on the ukulele. This was a big step for him, since it has a dreadnought-size body. He has accommodated admirably. He was immediately able to play chords and fret them well enough to eliminate buzzing. It came in good adjustment and in good shape. This is the kind of guitar I should have started out on: it is capable of playing in a professional setting, but it comes at the lowest price you can pay for a good quality, easy to play beginners instrument. I'm now on my fourth Martin, and would happily pick this up to play if one of my Martin's wasn't within reach.

Sounds great. Looks great. Ideal for a beginner. Really pleased with it. Obviously this model is large so bear in mind.
