Cambro Insulated Food Pan Carrier - Hotbox and Food Warmer for Catering & Transport - Front Load UPC300 Series (Black)

Product was awesome at keeping food hot for quite some time. However, the Cambro is heavy enough when it’s empty, when it’s full it’s impossible to manage without having food all over the place. Unfortunately, I had a little mess on my hands (and kitchen floor) when I recently cooked quite a bit of food for a friend’s Halloween party. When I loaded up the Cambro and tried to move it, all of the trays fell out of their respective grooves and landed on top of each other. I wound up having to remove all the trays of food (I had made 4 full trays of hot food) from the Cambro, clean up the mess and place the empty Cambro in my SUV and then bring the food trays out to my vehicle and then place trays in Cambro. Then I drove to the party very carefully (a half hour drive) avoiding pot holes and any quick turns or maneuvers. When I got to the party one of the trays had fallen out of the grooves and landed in the one beneath it, leaving a little mess, but nothing disastrous. Not sure what to do to avoid this happening in the future. Any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.

Just used this for the first time...good thing I had it, the caterer delivered the food one hour early. This thing holds the temperature beautifully. If you use the aluminum full or half 2.5 inch tray to serve or get from a deli, just buy the stainless steel full or half trays and sit the aluminum pans in them and then slide them. They will fit perfectly. If you entertain and want your food safe as well as tasting it's best, you can't do better than this unless you are using a true hot box, but this is SO much more convenient. Btw, thought the wheel base was incredibly expensive, but it was worth it and it practically weighs the same as the Cambro container it holds, it's that sturdy.

Does exactly what it says it does. The only reason I'm giving it 4 starts instead of 5 is b/c of the price. It doesn't do much more than a cooler will do but it helps you organize the food so you can get more in. But for $200 I'm not sure it's exactly a bargain. Edit 11/16/2015 - If you use a cooler you must also use a towel or hot food will melt the interior of the cooler... I'm bumping up to five stars. This thing has been totally worth the money.

We received and the latch was broken. There are two so we HAD to have and used anyways. Keeps things nice and warm though. Latches suck though.

This thing keeps food hot for hours, even without a warmer. I had a brisket in one that was warm for over 6 hours even with opening and serving out of it. Just be sure and order pans for it since I tried for a few days to find disposable ones that would fit with no luck. I finally got the ones built for it and they work great.

This Cambro is great. I purchased it on a recommendation from a friend who also competes in barbecue competitions. When he said this was a game changer, he was not lying. I am more at ease knowing that all my food will be hot when it’s ready to serve. My only regret, I want another one.

Does exactly as advertised- keep food warm. Put in a 200 deg 12lb foil wrapped smoked brisket to “hold” and 2 1/2 hours later was at 160 deg. Appears extremely well insulated and very durable. Latches draw door seal tight- appears air tight. Holds enough food trays to hold or transport a good sized full meal. Very satisfied.

Nothing is worse than good bbq gone cold. After buying my Weber summit, this was the logical next purchase. Used it 5x this past summer and It has worked out great! Keeps the food piping hot for over 5 hours. Also, keeps the meat smells out of my regular cooler.
