Solid Dashcam with Great features
I've been using this FocuWay L7 dashcam for a few weeks now and it's pretty good overall. The LTE connectivity is definitely the coolest part - I can check my car footage from anywhere using the app. Just keep in mind that while it comes with a SIM card and free trial period, you'll need to pay for a data plan after that ends (or use your own SIM card). Setup wasn't too complicated - the OBD cable made things easier and it took me maybe 15 minutes to get everything running. The dual cameras work well - one for the road and one for inside the car. The night vision is decent too. I haven't tried the 24-hour parking mode yet, so can't comment on how well that works, but the regular driving recording has been reliable. The video quality is good enough for what I need - not amazing, but it does the job. Nice bonus that it comes with a 32GB memory card included, so you don't have to buy that separately. The app sometimes takes a couple tries to connect, but it's not a huge deal. The two-way talk feature is kind of neat, though I haven't had much reason to use it. I like the privacy features - you can cover the interior camera when you don't want it recording. All in all, it's a solid dashcam with some nice extra features. Not perfect, but definitely worth considering if you want the remote viewing capabilities.

VERY Unreliable
It started off decent. It seemed to detect when people or vehicles approached my car. But over time, I noticed it only captured about 1 out of every 5 events. Hours would go by without any updates. The breaking point was when a car parked extremely close to mine and the camera had no footage of it whatsoever. On top of that, it constantly thinks you’re driving even with the OBD cable connected, then randomly shuts off, overheats, and the video quality is terrible. Installation was simple and the app itself is easy to use. But none of that matters if the core function doesn’t work. It’s honestly useless and not worth the $20 per month subscription. I reached out to support, but they never responded with any real solution to my issues. The device is medium-sized, the features are lacking, and overall it’s just not worth it.

Reliable dashcam with remote access and useful features
I got this dashcam after my car was hit and suffered some damage while parked at a public garage, while I was at work. I've been using it for about a month now and have been happy with it overall. The LTE connectivity is definitely the coolest part - I needed a dashcam which would allow me to check my car footage from anywhere using the app, even when the car isn't running. Please note that while it comes with a AT&T SIM card for free trial period, you'll need to choose a subscription after it ends (or use your own SIM card with 4G LTE connectivity). Setup was pretty easy based on the instructions in the manual. The OBD cable helped a lot and it took me about 30 minutes to set it up. The dashcam has 2 cameras; one for the road and one for inside the car. The night vision decent and offers a good view, even if the car is parked in a dark spot. The 24-hour parking monitoring and surveillance was extremely handy when I was travelling for work. It automatically records and uploads any incidents to the cloud, so you'd have the necessary evidence for insurance and legal purposes. You'll need to pay for cloud storage, to use this feature. It comes with a 32GB memory card which also stores video footage. You can purchase a separate memory card with a larger capacity. Two-Way Audio Communication allows you to talk to anyone inside your vehicle remotely via the YBox app. It can come in handy if you want to communicate with passengers on road trips, or check in on someone if you've lent them your car. I like the privacy feature which disables both in-car video and audio recording. Additionally you can manually block the cabin camera with the built-in lens cover for added security. I do have a couple of gripes with this dashcam, The video quality is decent, but not true HD. It struggles to capture license plates in the recording. Sometimes the remote connectivity isn't good and has intermittent failures. Overall, there is some room for improvements but it's a solid dashcam packed with some really nice extra features and will help you monitor your car.

Unique interface with ton of features!
I always wanted LTE/4G version of dash cam that I can access remotely. I tried this Focuway dash cam and the installation was both simple and the app (YBox) was very easy to use. The cord goes into the OBDII port that also monitors the voltage when the car is off so it does not discharge at a certain point and drain the battery. The install took less than five minutes as I routed the power cable along the pillar and towards the roof liner. I mainly wanted the front camera so I tucked it between the windshield and the rear view mirror. It seemed bulky at first but it actually fit nicely into the space. It also came with a micro SD card and a micro SIM card. While it's 1080p, the quality is enough to prove or show when there may be an accident or need to identify plates that are close by. Adhesive is 3M so it's very strong. The video also has good balance with HDR and does not wash out from the bright skies. It will help to install this high up in the windshield for that reason. Being able to access it from my phone is an awesome feature with very little out of pocket per month. It's like having our security system at home but for our vehicle. The price is excellent for overall functionality and happy with the purchase!

The only dash cam i'd reccomend
I love this dash cam, u can view it remotely, even if youre miles away from your car. And its really good at detecting activity, i used to have it set to any motion but now i have it set to human activity to save power. It also has g sensor detecting capability, ive never needed it so far while parking but occasionally it will go off while driving over potholes or roadwork, etc. It plugs into the obd port. There are no ads, but it makes you buy cloud storage, it doesnt let you view the footage, even with a sd card, unless you buy the cloud storage. Its expensive too, but honestly the peace of mind is worth it to me, its about $200 for a year subscription, and its about $120 for 6 months subscription, then around $20-30 for a months subscription. I really enjoy this dash cam, i love being able to see it at anytime remotely, and it doubles as a security camera for my house when its parked in my driveway. All in all, this is a 10/10 dash cam, i couldnt find any other dash cam that can remote view footage like this one. Cant beat it.

Dashcam will not record video or accident if it has no signal
Dashcam losses signal often. When signal is lost the camera does not record offline. 4g connection subscription is separate from the cloud access subscription. Dashcam will not return to operation when cell signal returns or when battery voltage goes back up. You will need to unplug at OBD port to reset. Usb power cord or power switch on camera does not reset dashcam. No way to tell if dashcam has lost signal and stopped recording as the led signal indicators still showed signal light when it goes offline. The concept of this dashcam was great and the parking feature is better than all other dashcams out there. I purchased 5 of these to test out. Dashcams I have tested with 4g connection are: Owlcam, Raven Dashcam, Waylens 360 4g, Blackview w/4g module, Rexing, DDPai, 70Mai, Wolfbox, Nexar and ring dashcam

Peace of Mind in My Rearview Mirror
As a mom, safety on the road is one of those things that’s always in the back of my mind—especially when I’ve got my little one in the car. I’ve been meaning to get a dash cam for a while, and finally decided on this one. I'm honestly so excited to have it now. The picture quality is crystal clear, both during the day and at night, and setup was super straightforward—even for someone who isn’t particularly techy. What I really appreciate is how discreet it looks once installed. It’s not bulky or distracting, but it’s doing its job in the background, recording everything just in case. And that’s the thing: I hope I never have to rely on it. But knowing it’s there gives me a real sense of peace—like a quiet little guardian watching over us during school drop-offs, errands, and road trips. Storage and playback are easy to manage, and the motion detection feature is an added bonus, especially for parking lots. For the price, I think this is more than fair considering the quality and security it brings. If you’ve been on the fence about a dash cam, this one is worth it. I wish I had bought it sooner.

An excellent, affordable 4g LTE dashcam on the market.
It is a good dash cam overall. It is easy to install and set up. T-Mobile recently offered me a free extra line, which is good timing. So, I used my T-Mobile SIM card. The unlimited 5g makes me worry-free about using it on my dashcam. Accessing the dash cam from the remote app is fast and easy. It's not a problem to connect through mobile data so far. Switching front and rear cameras is quick and does not lag. I tested the 2-way conversation. Quality is good, like talking to speak on the phone. The YBox app is the worst part. It is okay function-wide, but the design is old school, and the user experience is poor. It is a good camera with much potential to compete with big names. But it does have a good app to support it. Mean bad product. The camera quality is just ok. Not HD. It is impossible to see the license plate on other cars based on this “HD” camera. I'm unsure why other people said it is crystal clear and they can see the other car's license plates. My windshield is clean and clear as crystal. So it should capture clear video quality. But it isn’t. Don’t expect true HD or 4K quality with this affordable camera. I took 1 star off because of the Ybox app and the camera's quality. I still highly recommend this camera, even though it is not HD. Quality vs. price: it is still a good deal, and you should not be disappointed. Update: changed from 4 stars to 3 stars. After over a month of using this dashcam, I want to drop 1 more star. The cam’s inside-outside activity detection is terrible and very annoying. I turn off the front detection and keep the inside cam active, but the front cam is still triggered by humans who pass by or are captured by it. I chatted with support, and they told me that cameras and radars are separated. Radars detect the activities. They are still active even though the cameras are covered. The inside radar may still be triggered even though the front radar was disabled due to the inside radar's sensitive level. However, it cannot be adjusted. It requires hardware modification. I receive over 30-40 unnecessary alerts every day. Very annoying. This is the problem that I cannot live with. Unfortunately, I cannot return it. I have to turn off the activities detection. That causes the camera’s value to drop 50%.
