Myself, my husband, and both of our dogs adore this chair. Guests enjoy it as well, and I ♥ that I get to swirl around.

Update: Upon further inspection I did something dumb and had the back rest assembled backwards. Mechanically the brackets work both ways, so make sure that you pay attention to the orientation because it will allow assembly backwards. Engineers don't read instructions, and apparently when in a hurry aren't very good a common sense either. The chair is 1000% more comfortable when assembled correctly, duh. Initial Review: This chair is comically under padded. To be fair, the pads were vacuum packed, so they might fluff out a bit still. Out of the box it feels like a recliner meets stadium chair. The mechanism seems solid. the base is heavy, the glide and swivel are noise free and smooth. The foot rest mechanism works as expected. You need to kick it back in to latch. It is a slam latch, no handle to assist back driving. The back rest only reclines in the foot rest up state. Now for the dirt. There is a sizable gap between the back rest and the seat that is unsupported, maybe 3 inches. If you don't mind not having your lower back supported, this might be a good chair for you. The back rest also terminates at a poor angle. When I first sat down I thought it was assembled incorrectly. I'm a mechanical engineer, after taking a look I am satisfied it was assembled correctly. As it is, I wouldn't use it, but I might make a trip to the fabric store for more padding. I got what I paid for, a real recliner is going to cost a lot more. With some more, like a lot more, padding and a little creativity, it may become a nice chair. I do wish I hadn't purchased it. Aside from that it has a little bit of the mattress chemical smell and the places where my skin touched the fabric now tingle slightly. I expect airing it out for a few days will help.

The color and fabric are nice. Have only had the chair less than one week so durability is not something I can speak to. Assembly was simple except for the side storage area. Nothing lines up as far as where the holes for the hinges are drilled and the closing mechanism does not meet. The footrest is very difficult to collapse with your legs and the recliner wants to set you right back up at any angle you attempt to lay back. I am not about to package it all back up and pay return shipping so although comfortable it does not function as I feel it should.

I love mine. Fits perfectly in my nursery and the rocking quality is super smooth

Why are there missing screws for the foot rest? This is not ok, the item is fairly expensive and being out of stock is not an acceptable answer

1. No cushion at all, it's like sitting on a board. 2. Material is itchy and cheap feeling. 3. Made for shipping only, not sturdy. 4. Gray is actually a off white. Extremely mad. Likely to return, especially due to what I paid. Do not buy this
