Safe to touh an aluminum boat trailer or stainless boat prop?

It's safe on aluminum outboard powerheads so I'm sure it's safe on a aluminum trailer and it won't harm the stainless prop at all

Can it be used in indoor plumbing

Well depends on problem , drain clog no won’t work . But if you have a plumbing coil that has mineral scale from hard water yes it will work . Also any water system closed loop style will clean internal deposits like a heating coil on boilers . Good luck

I used it to flush a hot water heater. Two weeks later the hot water smells while the cold water doesn't. How long does the smell / odor last?

Usually a smell from a water heater means the anode rod, has gone bad. You can flush it many times. It will only come back…. Change the rod.
