I've not seen any reviews stating what this product does for calming the nerves. For the last three years I have led an extremely stressful life. Out of the blue my body would start shaking out of control internally with high anxiety. This product has been an absolute life saver for me. Within 20 minutes the shaking and anxiety are gone. It is helping me reclaim my sanity while working through stressful life situations. I wouldn't know what to do without it. This calms the nervous system down like nothing else.

WHAT’S IN THE NAME? PHOSPHATIDYLSERINE = PHOSPHAte + pepTIDE + L-SERINE. (The “Y” was just stuck in there to replace the "E" for the sake of conformity with other similar compound names). WHAT IS IT? AND WHAT DOES IT DO? ‘PS’ is a phospholipid. It contains amino acids and omega-3 fatty acids. They work together (synergistically) to construct the building blocks of the healthy cell membranes that surround all our cells. These cell membranes provide cellular structure and protection. WHAT ELSE DOES IT DO? ‘PS’ is critical to the maintenance of all cellular functions, especially in the brain. It helps to improve mental focus, memory, and cognition; it improves mood; it relieves stress by reducing cortisol levels; it can help thyroid issues, and it also boosts athletic performance! Wow! It seems the only thing this stuff doesn’t do is give us the winning lottery number! Personally, I take it almost every day together with 3 other brain “foods” for a quadruple whammy! But I feel great taking this product, knowing that is helping me in the long term no immediate feelings so that means you won’t feel that you’re taking this product but positive note it is a great investment on your health

I bought these many times. They are good except that every time I open a bottle I'm presented with slimy capsules because at least 3 of the capsules have broken open. The bottle I'm using now had 3 capsules that were broken. Slime everywhere. I dump out all the capsules and find the broken ones and throw them away and put all the capsule in a bowl lined with paper towels and rub another paper towel over them to try to get all the slime off. Solar, you need to fix your encapsulation process. It's not working. Look at all the other reviews saying the same thing.

I love the product, I have been taking it for years but today, I received THAT, something is very wrong. I think the pills are leaking. I am very disappointed. It's my first time buying from the seller.

I had been taking Prevagen for a couple of years and had never really noticed a difference in my overall memory. Prevagen is also expensive so after awhile, I quit using. Then I read about Solgar Phosphatidyl-Serine. This is the 2nd supplement from Solgar that I have tried and I can honestly say that I can tell a difference. I feel I am sharper. I am able to focus and my recall and retention seems better. I was skeptical because there was no change from Prevagen but I have definitely noticed a difference with Solgar Phosphatidyl-Serine.

I have Adult ADD and have good results on my prescribed medications. I saw something called Vayarin advertised somewhere as being a nutritional supplement for treating ADD and noticed that the 2 active ingredients were fish oil and phosphatidylserine. I was already taking Ocean Blue Professional Omega 3 fish oil for heart health and figured I would just add Solgar PhosphatidylSerine to create my version of vayarin. By doing this, not only is my method half the cost of the Vayarin, but I don't need a doctor's prescription. Taking the fish oil + phosphatidylserine alone, however, does not treat my ADD symptoms as well as my prescribed ADD meds. When I take the fish oil + phosphatidylserine combination with my prescribed ADD meds, I notice that my mind is not so "restless". I can get tasks done more easily without all of that "noise in my head" sensation that seems so common with ADD.
