5-Star Review: Premium Metal Swimming Pool Ladder
After struggling with flimsy pool ladders for years, I finally invested in this metal swimming pool ladder—and what a game-changer! From the moment I assembled it, I could tell this was in a completely different league from my previous plastic models. The sturdy stainless steel construction feels excellent, with no wobbling or flexing when climbing in and out of the pool. It remains firmly in place even when my kids race up and down it (despite my constant reminders not to!). The weight capacity is impressive, efficiently supporting adults of all sizes without any concerning creaks or movement.Installation was straightforward, and the included hardware was high-quality. The rubber-coated steps provide excellent grip even when wet, giving me peace of mind for children and older family members. No more slippery accidents!I particularly appreciate the thoughtful design touches—the handrails extend above the pool deck at just the right height, making entry and exit smooth and confidence-inspiring. The ladder also features protective caps on all edges to prevent scratching the pool liner. While it was slightly more expensive than other options, its durability makes it well worth the investment. After a full summer of heavy use, it still looks brand new and shows no signs of rust or corrosion. If you're tired of replacing cheap ladders every season, do yourself a favor and upgrade to this metal pool ladder. Your pool experience will instantly improve, and you'll wonder why you waited so long!

Hard pass on this if you are looking for quality
UPDATE (8/14/2025):So, I finally removed this product from my pool and replaced it with a Confer Plastics 6000X that I got right here at Amazon. The 6000X claims support of up to 300lbs even though it is constructed with plastic. There is a nice assembly and install video by the manufacturer that you can review as well. This ladder continued to deflect a lot since my original review until it finally broke. I kept reinforcing the base with washers and 5" wood screws to firm it up. You can see in the two new photos, the deformity in the uninstalled post and especially the fracture at the joints. This product is unfortunately cheap in price and also quality. I would stay away.ORIGINAL POST:The price was a bit too good to be true on this. Install was straightforward and simple. I added this to an inground pool that was constructed into a wooden deck (see image). The stairs were screwed directly into the wood deck as a base and then sits in the pool as expected. Unfortunately, I have to agree with some of the other reviews that this is a really flimsy product that lacks sturdiness. I have individuals who do not want to enter the pool because they feel that they would not be able to get back out. It claims 200+lbs weight support but it is really designed for kids or adults weighing well less than 175-lb I suspect. Regular adults can't really fit in between the narrow passage. Pulling on it to get out of the pool results in all kinds of bending and deflections. I am surprised it hasn't broken off with a person falling backwards back into the pool.I didn't realize how bad it was until the summer got here and its use went up exponentially from 0. I am planning to replace it the next chance I get. At least the design looks really good, but unfortunately it isn't functional for a wide range of users. I guess the only positive is the fact it did not have any missing parts (so +1*). If I could do it again, I would stay away from this product and pick something else more sturdy.

Pool ladder
Picture shows what appears to be caps, possibly rubber or plastic to provide protection or relief where the ladder contacts the pool side. Mine were missing. Also, price of item dropped to $89.88 from the $98 I paid. Not sure if Amazon does the "if the price is lower in 30 from your purchase date" they refund the difference. Item was easy to assemble and should meet my needs. I will have to come up with some soft bumper material for the bottom ends.

Looked to good to be true.
Look good, relatively cheap and easy to install. That's all the good i can say for them. These are extremely flimsy, bowing and bending to the extent of near braking with a load of 120lbs. These in no way these could possibly hold anywhere close to the boasted "heavy duty " 265lbs that is stated in the description. I suggest getting something else.

Very disappointed that there were no screws or bolts included when it said that everything was included.
