Standing Desk - 33" Wide Stand up Desk Riser (Dual Monitors, Black)

This is a great standing desk. The desk can be raised to a nice high level for me. When I compared this to others before ordering, I found it had capability to raise higher than all the others I found for sale. Also, the total desk space is enough for my 17' laptop as well as my 22" monitor, plus plenty of room for my mouse pad and mouse. The price is better than most on the market for this type of quality. It is sturdy so I can rest my arms on the desk and there is very little movement. The only con is when the desk is fully compact, it takes some strength to lift it up initially. And also when the desk is fully extended, it takes some strength to lower it initially. Anywhere just above fully compact, or just below fully extended, it is easy to move the desk up and down. This has been great for me and my back. It allows me to stand and sit as needed throughout the day so I'm not in one particular position for too long. I recommend this desk.

I was pleasantly surprised to find how solid the product was. After all, my fear was that it was going to be "chinzy" and put my laptop at risk.Instead, the standing desk is terrific. The one quirk I found with it so far Is that the first time I attempted to lower it I needed to put all my weight on it to bring it to the desktop level. Now it works perfectly all the time. A pleasant surprise was that my laptop Is now at the correct level for me to record video instead of always looking up at my face.

I used this each day for teaching online. It is a great way to go from sitting to standing when teaching. If you make it go all the way up it is very hard to get down. I don't let it go all the way up. It seems to get a little shaky after about 6 months of using it but still does a good job.

I wish I had gotten this desk riser a long time ago. It comes assembled and pretty solid. You just unpack it and use it. It is so handy thru the day, being able to sit or stand at work, just like that. I pulls up and goes down in a smooth motion. A good price too for the quality.
