Comprehensive vook on the basics of population dynamics. Does not go into detail, but covers basic models.

This was a well-written and informative textbook. It provides a breakdown of the current techniques used for estimating wildlife populations, estimating demographics about those populations, and all of the mathematics behind the techniques. It covers the different types of threats to wildlife and what can be done to combat them, plus much, much more.

My son needed this for his class. He said it is perfect and in great condition

This book was written by my adviser Scott Mills at the University of Montana. He has great insight to wildlife biology and has been an inspiration as a student in the program. I hope others can get the same value out of his book.

Great discourse on the basis of wildlife conservation. Consider this book as a starting point to understanding more about wildlife population ecology.

Difficult to read at times. I have a Biology BS and had to review some sections. Definitely must understand statistics.
