Urageuxy Wireless Weather Station Indoor Outdoor, Home Weather Stations with Rain Gauge, Wind Speed/Direction, Temperature, Humidity, Moon Phase, Weather Forecast, Barometer Pressure

Decided to get this fancy device after our 6 year old more simplistic device broke. We never had a home weather station before but have to tell you that this is impressive. We decided to install the outside unit on top of the kids play set and the screen on the wall using an outlet on the other side so the wire will be hidden. Very easy assembly, you basically just have to install some backup batteries in the outside unit and the screen and you have to attach the outside unit to the stand. Living up the mountain it’s nice to be able to see the exact temperature and wind outside and dress accordingly. We were worried that the reception won’t be good since it’s a bit far and high up in the backyard but no problem with the signal. You can see on the screen when they’re actually communicating every few seconds. Good build quality also.

Getting the timezone to sync properly wasted couple of whole days. Next, the manual instructed me to calibrate the outdoor sensor, but the steps were completely unclear and called for specialized tools I don't have. I just set it up regardless. The signal hasn't dropped, but the displayed information is highly unreliable. The temperature reads a massive 10°F warmer than actual local conditions, which completely throws off the rest of the weather metrics. It only registers accurately when shielded from the sun. Unfortunately, moving it near my patio to fix the temperature blocks the anemometer, ruining the wind tracking. It could have made better but definitely not worth it.

So easy to Setup. Worked right off the bat and I am extremely happy with it. I like that it gives me the history of all the different variables. And I actually don’t know how they can make this product for such a reasonable price. Extremely happy. Love it.

Overall I love having a weather station, and the temperature and wind speed seem to be accurate. The rain gauge works well, also. The barometer appears to be off, and the history display is terrible - no where near the resolution that could be displayed. I wish I could really tell what the max/min temperatures were. The rain history is completely wrong. For the price this is a reasonable system, but I wish I had spent a few more dollars and gotten a better one.

Very handy item

At first this worked great but after 3 months of use, the outside temp has stopped working. I will call Amazon to see if they can help but there is no other way to get this repaired that I know of.

The weather station was missing parts when it showed up. By the time I got the parts the return period was almost over. Once I got it put out and set up the rain gauge worked for about 2 weeks. The wind gauge is suspect also. Local weather stations reporting 60-70 mph winds, this station reporting no more than 20 mph. Judging by the tree damage in my yard I'm going with the 60-70 mph winds. The indoor display is not user friendly. Found it hard to scroll through and intrepid.
