Higher end product
This product works very well. It has a pleasant scent with a moderately firm hold and low shine. Gives your hair a nice natural look. I would recommend.

Amazing
After years of trying different clays and pomades, I finally found what works best for me and my hair type. Using the Northern Lights by itself is really nice but my hair is on the dry side, so I mix it 50/50 with sun bum surf paste which is very hydrating and this is my holy grail of styling products. Strong hold with a small amount of hydration and my hair looks the best it ever has. The smell is just amazing, it's easy to take some out of the jar, and very easily washes out with shampoo every day. Best of all it doesn't damage or dry out my hair. I actually found this from chatGPT when I had it analyze the ingredients of 3 other styling clays I used because my hair was getting damaged. It recommend this one because of the quality and healthy ingredients and it was not wrong! Can't recommend this enough. Best ever.

Still a Favorite, but This Batch Feels Different
This has always been one of my favorite hair products because of its firm hold, matte finish, pleasant scent, and how easily it washes out. It normally performs consistently and keeps my hair in place without feeling heavy. However, with this purchase, the texture feels slightly different than what I’m used to, and the scent is much less noticeable. It still works well overall, but the change was noticeable compared to previous jars. Hopefully this was just a batch variation, as it’s usually an excellent product.

One of the best pomades on the market!
Such an amazing product, I have been using it for over a year now! I love the strong hold it has on my hair, while keeping the matte look, and not the wet greasy look. Less is more with Northern Lights, not needing a ton to keep your hair looking solid all day long. Highly recommend this product as well as everything else that Shear Revival makes, as the quality is unmatched by anyone else.

A little too overhyped?
Packaging of the product is great. Comes in a class jar, fits nicely in the palm to be able to scoop out. Label is nice and branding is nice. It's nice to leave out on the shelf. The actual product did not impress me much. I think ordering from Amazon isn't the best idea, I think my seller had it on the shelf too long. Upon opening the jar, the smell was fantastic. Not overpowering and the scent only lasts a couple of hours in the hair after applying. Scooping it out takes a while. Maybe because I live in colder weather and my bathroom is about 65 degrees, but even after working the paste and warming it up, it's still difficult to scoop. Again, maybe it's because it's an old product. I'm able to soften it up, work it between my palms and get a waxy/paste texture. Applying to my hair isn't as smooth as most people mention. My hair is between medium and thick, and slightly wavy. While it does hold REALLY well, it gives a really oily feel. Yes, I can run my hands through my hair, but leaves my hands feeling a oily, which is strange because it's water based. This does not wash out of my hair very easily. I can feel the product when I shower. I don't like washing my hair every day, And figure some buildup is ok. This product builds up quick. If I don't wash my hair for 2 days while using this product, my hair gets really greasy and weighed down. I'm not overusing the product, like maybe a dime side scoop at most. Maybe it's the soft water where I live that's not stripping away the paste very well, maybe it's the product being a little bit older. Either way, when I do get a good soft scoop out of the jar, it still doesn't seem to impress me.

Already my all-time favorite! Quite a bit better than Hanz De Fuko Claymation
Only been using Shear Revival Northern Lights for about a month, and it's already my favorite hair styling product I've ever used. Previously I tried Hanz De Fuko's Claymation, but never liked it all that much, it was a little too hard, and left specks in the hair. Northern Lights is much easier to apply, holds just as well if not better. You also get 3.4 oz with Northern Lights, and only 2oz with Claymation/many other hair styling products, so this is economical as well as being an A+ product. I am a bit sensitive to scents/smells, but I love the subtle smell of Northern Lights. It's a subtle pleasant lemony kind of scent. Definitely helps with volume and leaves my hair feeling healthy, I don't even feel the need to wash it out at the end of the day (depends on how much you use, perhaps). I'm very happy with this, and I think I'll keep using Northern Lights for the rest of my life as long as it's still available.

Absolutely refreshing
Pros: Scent is amazing, very light and natural Hold is definitely high, but pliable and responsive Great in both towel-dried and blow dried hair Applies very easily and washes out about 90% with just water (just how i like it, i don’t like when products completely fall apart when your hair gets a little damp or sweaty) Lots of product for the price and high quality ingredients (I love Shear Revival and the effort they put in) Works great for all hair types; i have one of the most difficult to manage hair types you can possibly have and this thing gives tons of control Feels super light and smooth in the hair (amazing for my thick course frizzy hair) Cons: Depending on your hair length and thickness, this might not be enough hold for you. if you want a natural hairstyle that you can run your hands through then it’s definitely perfect, but if you’re looking for something clean cut it’ll only really be good for you if you have short to medium length hair.

Best matte wax i've found/used so far.
Gives a natural matte finish without feeling heavy or sticky. Easy to apply, workable through the day, and washes out without effort. Good hold that looks clean. A solid everyday product. Been using it for years, and received several complements about the (good) smell too.

Finalmente l'ho trovato...

Jar was cracked, then broke. Paste was already dried up.
The jar was cracked upon arrival, and when we carefully opened the lid to see inside, it broke. With the jar damaged before arriving, the paste was already dried up and unusable, and in any case shards of glass fell inside, making it unsafe.
