Decided to upgrade my 2016 SUV which doesn't have android auto/carplay as the technology wasn't even available then. I debated between an external monitor or replacing the existing media system. The latter one is too invasive and requires time and effort for the replacement. So eventually decide to have this external monitor for the functionalities.The item comes with great surprise: it takes less than 5 minutes to install, paring with phones instantly, high resolution display, touch screen is responsive. It even comes with a rear view camera (I don't actually need it but I think it would be a great addon for cars that don't have rear view camera). The item feels a quite high quality one.The item comes with two types of mounts: a suction cup type and a glue stick one. My car has a matte surface so I had to use the glue stick one, which holds the monitor very strongly. The 7" screen is in a perfect size: not too big to block drivers view, not too small to compromise any display.The device is powered by usb-c. It comes with a 12v cigarette plug, but I just use a USB cable and it works fine.Really glad with the purchase. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their car technology.
