Happy Trunks Harem Pants - S M L XL 2XL - Womens Plus Hippie Bohemian Yoga Elephant Pants (X Large, Black Solid)

I usually wear an 18/20 and am 5 foot 7. According to the size chart I should be an XL. I received them, tried them on and loved them! I purchased this to use as part of a swim suit cover up, as my skin is fair and I burn easily, we were taking a beach vacation and I knew I would need pants too. These were light weight so would dry quickly, I loved the feel of the fabric and the fit. Unlike my hubby, I don't usually wash something like this before wearing, so into the suitcase they went. I loved them on the beach and got many compliments. When we got home I threw them in the washer and my kids tried to be helpful and put them (and my swim suit) in the dryer. Now they are a bit too short and a bit too small. I will order again, the next size up, but I'm super sad this pair shrunk- they were perfect and probably still would be if not for getting thrown in the dryer.

Let me start by saying that there is nothing terribly wrong with these pants, but I am returning them. They are quite thin and sheer (at least the black ones), and the fabric is not nearly as soft & flowing as I’m used to having in rayon clothes. It seems thin & rough for rayon, and I can’t imagine the seams will hold up long term. I’m 5’6” and 200lb, 33” waist, 42” hips, with a full set of thunder thighs and a round bum. I usually wear a 14 or L/XL in pants, and size large in tops & dresses. These pants fit fine in the waist (not tight at all), but were a bit more close fitting than was comfortable in the hips and buttocks while sitting cross legged: the crotch area was under strain, and the fabric around the hips pulled tighter for yoga poses or lounging. The pants hit an inch or two above my ankle, which I was hoping would be longer in the leg (not a huge fan of cropped harem pants), but this is a matter of preference. The elastic at the ankle certainly was not too tight or uncomfortable. These were not quite as high waisted as I would prefer, not as soft as I wanted, but they are not bad pants if you’ve nothing against some sheerness. Definitely light weight and probably very comfortable in the heat of summer.

These pants are a nice material. They are comfortable but they are very short! I am 5'8" and they fall mi-calf. Because of the cuffs, they look odd. Too bad for me! Otherwise they are a really good value.

I love these pants, I'm 5ft and they fit nicely and so comfortable. I have worn them 4 or 5 times so far and after each wash they still keep it's color "black". Even though I live in South Tx and it gets very hot and humid here they don't make me sweat and you can't see through it. The only thing is after wearing it 4 or 5 times some how a small hole appeared in the inner thigh. I'm not sure how that happened, its not too tight but loose but not too loose and I don't remember ever snagging it on anything. Still I would definitely buy some more of them if they would just add more color options, they are always sold out.:(

First impression is good. Ordered XL in solid black. I’m thicker in the middle these days, and the waist line is not unflattering like some loose pants are. Good length and good fit with elastic waist. They have the potential to be sheer in certain lighting, so will have to be mindful. Perfect beach or summer lounging pant. Haven’t washed them yet, but plan to hand wash with delicates due to thin fabric. I plan to buy another color.
