In 1919, the small English firm of AC Cars came out with a new engine which, amazingly, was to power their products for more than 40 years. This is the first ever book devoted exclusively to the six-cylinder AC cars. The history of the cars in competition is studied, and the author also advises on the practicalities of owning any of these models today, including common problems, parts availability, maintenance and preservation. With its in-depth examination of these desirable ACs, this book provides an unrivalled store of knowledge for the many owners and enthusiasts who care passionately about them, and serves as a tribute to the men who made them. Review: Five Stars - Highly informative and in reality it is the bible for these AC models. Best book for AC fans.
Best book for AC fans. If you own or want to own an AC this book is a should have... it has records of all the AC's ever made and you can research engine numbers, etc. A bit expensive but great book.

Good collection and commentary
Gives good ups/downs of the company and a good sense of the times. Be clear that it is about the SPORTS cars, not drop head coupe or phaeton, etc. Some of the details are sparse, in terms of who/when but it won't get any better than this. Brought back memories for my Dad and me and the '37 drophead coupe with rumble seat we enjoyed that is back home now.
