Years ago I added normal sand to wall paint and the look was great. However I read there could be interferences with paint composition using normal sand from the beach or desert, so I tried this out when I next decorated my room, which a few weeks ago now. Amazing. Thought the size of the granules might not be large enough. I was happily proven wrong. Pretty much perfect for my aesthetic. With a little trial and error, the look I wanted required at least 300g sand to 1000mL paint (just say one third sand to paint). 2 coats of paint were needed. I used Craig & Rose paint and that worked well. I like the fact the sand is white, which complemented the paint I used for the walls. I used a natural bristled brush combined with the dab technique. Employing the normal brush stroke method resulted in significantly bare areas devoid of sand texture. For a 6m2 room I used almost 2.5-3kg sand. When I redecorate another room in this fashion I will certainly buy more of this sand. My mother has seen the effect and now wants it for one of her rooms.

It is what it is. It looks good and is white so it does what I need. Price is ok but not exactly cheap hence the 4 stars

Perfect for art and craft. I used it to create a candle lantren.

I washed this twice in the washing up bucket in the sink . Then put it in and turn the light on and took the first photo. It settled straight away . My fish are used to being moved within an hour they were in the tank happy. I can see the difference the fish live the sand compared to stone. Tropical tank this sand was used for. So easy to use I am shocked :)

The box was battered on arrival and some of the beads were leaking out from the bag, so l probably only received 4 kg I'm sure it was perfect leaving the manufacturer but mabie double bag them, the product was good but lm disappointed with the amount l lost.

I've bought this before and wasn't disappointed now I've bought it again. Pure white and very clean. I still washed it just in case. It looks amazing in my fish tanks.
