Powerful Scope! Powerful Fun!
This spotting scope has brought so much joy and sparked a real interest in birding because of the quality and ease of use. I was very surprised at the zoom quality and clarity considering the great price. I love the iphone clip that allows you to capture videos and photographs. It's what transforms observation to interaction. My iphone camera is not the best quality, so any haziness comes from that and not the scope. All birding pictures were taken through the window from inside my home and the day after getting the scope. This scope and accessories are easy to use. I have been posting pictures to social media and my friends have enjoyed them so much that many of them are buying one for themselves. I would say a bigger tripod is necessary, otherwise this is a great purchase!!

Amazing for price and quality
The gosky spotting scope is an amazing product and we'll worth the money, sight quality is definitely HD at its best and easy to use, I originally ordered it to use at the range as well is to moon gaze and it delivered better then expected, it came with a table top tripod that is very sturdy and strong and also came with a cell phone mount to place the camera on perfectly, a but confusing to mount and line up but after a minute or 2 i figured it out, definitely use the tripod it comes with if you plan on using the mount system its tough to use on a cheap ground standing tripod like the one I used to take pictures of the moon, and the pictures do not do it justice for the clarity using the naked eye with the scope was just mind blowing, definitely suggest this product!

Good scope for the money.
I wanted to take the time and leave a review in hopes of helping others make an informed decision about this scope. I was looking for a reasonably priced scope for use in target shooting and looked at a few different brands on Amazon. I wanted to stay under $100 and realized that there would be a certain quality hit. I reviewed and teetered between the Emarth 20-60x60AE, the Huicocy 20-60x60mm, Gosky 20-60x60HD, Landove 20-60x65mm and the Roxant Blackbird 12-36x50mm. Although the Roxant got great reviews, I decided against it at the start because I didn't feel it would give enough magnification at 100 yards. The other scopes basically got the same ratings, with comments about decreased clarity at full magnification. With it being a tossup with all around cost and features, I decided on the Gosky. The scope arrived quickly and was packed in a non-descript box with generic information. This initial impression lead me to think that most of these scopes are basically the same manufacture with a bit of branding slapped on. They probably are all churned out of the same plant in China. The first scope did have a manufacturing issue with the front optic being attached to the scope body crookedly. Upon contacting Amazon, a replacement was sent out immediately. Kudos to amazon. The second scope was fine. I took the scope to our property the next week and put it to use sighting in a new 22 scope. The Gosky worked great at 50 yards, providing a good view of the 22 cal holes in the target. I moved it out to 100 yards and was still able to see the shots, but it was definitely at the scope's maximum capability. The attached image shows views at 50 and 100 yards. On a side note, the attachment for taking pphotos with a cell phone is frustrating to say the least, and those looking for the sole purpose of "digiscoping" should look elsewhere. I was able to get some photos for this post and will never use it again! I also haven't used the included tripod as I have a decent camera tripod. It looked fairly sturdy and should work fine for this lightweight scope but you will need to use it on a table top or from a prone position. So for anyone who casually shoots and is looking for a reasonably priced scope, the Gosky should perform adequately. Being under $100, don't expect pristine optics at maximum magnification and you won't disappointed. I hope the image and feedback helps. I wished there were more examples of targets at 100 yards when I was looking for a scope as it would have saved some consternation!

Good scope for a great price!
This is my first spotting scope. Bought is because it's waterproof, has a 20x60 zoom, and comes with a tripod, phone mount and carry case, all for a great price. I've used it for the first time this past weekend and it's great! Lets me see my 100 yard and 200 yard shots easily. It feels like a quality piece too! Not sure why other reviewers are complaining about the attachments. Had no problem attaching the tripod or the phone attachment. There is some fiddling that is needed to get the phone to line up properly but since the attachment is meant for any phone it only makes sense that you need to play around with it. No issues with clarity or focusing. Zoom is easy to use.

Not very versatile
Purchased for multiple purposes common for spotting scope. This Gorsky does none of them well. As a range spotter, it works well at 50 yards, but not at 100. As a backyard nature and terrain scope, barely acceptable. As an astronomical observation scope, only good for looking at the moon. Bright planets only become slightly larger dots of light. The included desktop tripod is as cheap as possible and almost useless. The scope itself seems well made. It holds adjustment well under 40. Somewhere between 40-60 the light gathering and optics quality are exceeded, In summary, the Gorsky does not fill any of its intended missions very well. It just confirms that quality optics can not be found at this price point.

Great spotting scope at a great price
I bought this scope to watch birds and other wildlife. The scope is very sturdy and well made. The zoom works well and the image is very clear. The scope comes with an easy to use cell phone mount for taking pictures using your phone. The carrying case is well made and padded to protect the scope. The tripod mount is nothing fancy, but it is sturdy and holds the scope well. The only downside is the tripod is pretty small - best used on a tabletop. You might want to purchase a full-sized tripod if you were taking this on hikes, etc. Overall, a well made product at a good price.

Easy to Use, and quality phone adapter.
I purchased this scope to use with birding, whale, and all around nature and hiking pictures. I like this scope 1. the angle of viewing. Have a neck injury limits the range of motion when looking up. This is huge. The iPhone adapter is very sturdy with 2 easy wing nut screws to hold it in place. It also came with a shield that slips on the adapter to help block out external light. (it does take a few minutes to get things lined up). 2, the little tripod it came with is sturdy and is actually usable. (larger one is better) 3. nice carrying case. 4. light weight, Over all very sturdy and quality for the price. I have tried other products and found flimsy phone adapters, lens with artifacts, or difficult to focus in.

Good to about 20-30x magnification. Too blurry after that to be useful (UPDATED)
Overall, this product does the job I bought it for, but just barely. I can clearly see 22 cal pellet holes in paper at 50 yards. I don't know if 100 yards will be possible. Maybe 75 for sure. It seems decently built and has a nice carry-all case. There are two things I don't like about mine. (1) The objective lens (the big end) was partly unscrewed on mine and a little crooked when it arrived. Since the unit claims to be nitrogen filled, there is certainly no nitrogen in mine now. Not sure if that really matters though. (2) The resolution is pretty mediocre. If you are used to a camera zoom lens or a good pair of binoculars, this is not in that level of quality by any means. Not even close. But hey, that's why it is inexpensive, so I understand. The image is pretty clear at 20x magnification but gets progressively blurrier as magnification is increased. It seems to peak at about 30x. Beyond this, the images gets bigger but also blurrier, and it gets blurrier faster than it gets bigger. I tested this trying to read license plates at a distance on the tripod. I found that I could read the numbers better at 30x zoom than 60 or even 45. All zooms get a little blurrier at higher magnifications, but this is excessive. Since I can manage with 30x zoom for my purposes I am okay. Overall, I think the product would be better labeled if the manufacturer advertised it as a 30x max zoom. Also, remove the suggestion that it is nitrogen filled. It's not a bad product for 80 bucks, but don't try to make seem more capable than it is. UPDATE 4/10/20. The manufacturer contacted me and asked if I would consider trying another sample free of charge. I agreed and they actually sent me a higher quality version, the 20-60x80 instead. This version is considerably better optically than the 60mm version I first bought. The image is wider, brighter, and sharper. If you are trying to decide between the 60 and 80mm versions, my experience is that the 80 is worth the extra cost. It is much larger though, if that matters. Adding 1 star because of the most excellent customer service I've ever seen!

Mobilen måste dessutom tas ur sitt fodral. Det hade varit bra om man snabbt kunde montera mobilen när man sett något intressant i kikaren men det verkar inte möjligt.

Clarity, and very good price for the build. Worth it!
I have had monoscopes through the years and paid well over what this cost me. Here is my quick review . Build. Fantastic. Unlike older scopes I have had, this one has a ring around it that lets you twist the entire body around. Bearing driven, so that it clicks into place at small intervals. The ring is external to the body. So no interference with a sealed unit, which was my initial worry. End cap is like a camera cap, much better, with a screw on front cap. Tripod is what I expected, simple cheap, but okay for desk top viewing work. The phone mount is really well built. Steel and plastic parts, robust and once fitted correctly makes it easy to view. Suggest mounting the phone in daylight. I could not do it in the dark, too fiddly. Viewing quality. Have to say, spot on, no milky image here for me, clarity was good. Best option is always 20x as it lets the maximum amount of light in. Zooming in diminishes the light input but you get to see s lot more on a good sunny day. Great for general viewing, celestial and always use a tripod. Price. Bargain for £100. Well impressed, good buy.

Excellent spotting scope
The images are crystal clear. Can read boards 4 to 5 km away very clearly. Can see the moon too in some detail though I am not an expert to comment on that. I use this for looking at land based objects, birds etc. For these purposes the spotting scope does its job very well. The tripod supplied with the scope may not have adequate height and you might need to go for a separate one. Overall it has been an excellent buy.
