Better than I’d hoped
Good value for money, easy to assemble although instructions are poor and resorted to YouTube to set the saw up as it needed adjusting for vertical alignment. Today I’ve been cutting MDF skirting board and when coupled with the finer tooth saw blade performed faultlessly in both 90 and 45 degree cuts. Very clean cuts. Dust collection is poor so I recommend using outside with a vacuum connected to collect some of the dust. At the moment if I was asked would I buy it again the answer would be Yes. It’s light enough for me to carry and I use on a portable work bench as I don’t need the associated bench but if you’re into high usage then maybe consider.

Evolution Sliding mitre saw
Pretty good machine and was all set up accurately, although it would be easy to adjust if required. Not the lightest but can be shifted around without to much effort. Seems durable enough, only time will tell.

Excellent value for money
I was a little bit sceptical about the quality of this, given the price, but as I bought it for a specific job, as long as it lasted for that job that was fine.I have been pleasantly surprised by how robust this has been, not only has it worked really well for the wood working job I bought it for it's also done a good job cutting steel and aluminium sections too, something I didn't really intend to use it for.It takes a while to put together but once it's assembled it's actually a good solid piece of kit and is now on its 5th job without any signs of wear and tear.

Has been great value for money
Bought December 2021 for a home reno, unfamiliar with the brand & unsure if I was making a mistake not buying something pricier. Reviews seemed favourable so rolled the dice on it.Still going strong Sep 2025 after replacing all floors & trim throughout the house, building a shed and a garden gym/sauna. It’s been through pine trim and oak floorboards. Dozens of pressure treated 2x6s & 2x8s, hundreds of CLS timbers, a back aching & knee destroying amount of oak parquet. Cedar cladding & composite cladding. Multiple nails in salvaged timber (oops). And not skipped a beat. Only just now starting to see some tearing so looks like it’s time for a blade replacement and it’ll be back to work. Very happy!
